I don't know if this would help you or not Jbotski, I had some problems with patch 3 as well. I finally found that if I started the game, it would freeze, but if I tried to start it again, it would boot it up, not sure why it does it, but I was happy to just get it to work.

ive tried that, not rly the intention, but i just get the error message, mine gets past the quick black screen then just stops loading, + it has a memory leak, mem just goes up and up on it when i check task manager. EDIT:it doesnt even get to the black screen now! next time ill wait to see if they patch the patch, then ill get the patch and the patch patch

EDIT AGAIN:try saying that 3 times fast!

Question for those of you with the pack:

Are the new parts from the C&C parts pack available in the Creature phase as fossils? I'm hoping so; if there's even a tiny glimmer of gameplay added by this pack (e.g., hunting for fossils to unlock parts) then I might consider it.

I do not have the C & C pack but would consider since the 24 limbs they gave out are showing as you find them in creature stage it would be the same for the parts from it.

(Probably stupid) Question: Went to buy the C+C parts pack from EA as a direct download and noticed something as I was about to buy it. The option to spend some more money in order to extend the amount of time I have it downloaded. Does this mean it will only be active for the standard 6 months before I need to buy it again, or is that just a standard part to the EA checkout screen?

they work just like normal parts. If you were a carnivore in cell, you have instant access to the first carnivore mouth in the pack, for omnivore the second row, etc. You unlock all the parts in the same way you did before the parts pack, it just makes it longer to collect all the parts.

Although there's something I would love to see if anyone actually has time to do this. What does each mouth look like stretched all the way out, and then squished all the way in? As most people have probably noticed with all the mouths, they all morph and change shape as you stretch or squish them, and some of them really change their appearance when you do. I know it probably took a long time to get screenshots of all the parts and put them on the site, but it would be nice to see for the people who are considering getting the pack.

During the dancing animations, is that music from the actual game, or was it added by the user? I'd be really disappointed to know that even Spore has resorted to using free GarageBand loops.

Well, now I might just need to consider buying the product. And that first one you made, while cool looking, appears to me to be a very diseased dog.

Oh no you don't! Don't try to reactivate my OCD, you bad little DiabloDog!

I'm not the guy to put that up -- however, I would add that on a couple of the mouths (I believe just the two herbivores with the two teeth showing) you can adjust the length of the teeth. Or make them disappear altoghether.

I wish this was an option with EVERY mouth.
