Restoring my original archetype (Knight)

I decided I'd get some split-personality badges and maybe an achievement or two and mess with some other archetype's abilities to see what they're like. But none of them really suited me, so now I'm done with all that for now I really want to return to my original archetype - Knight

Except... I can't. I went to another empire I own that is also the knight archetype, but upon completing their archetype quest I ended up a warrior =/

I know I there don't seem to be any other AI's with the Knight archetype, but what's the deal? - I can't learn it from my own empire, and can't learn it from the AI. Is there any way I can recover my original archetype anyone knows of (cheats, file swapping and trainers inclusive... well less so cheats if it means disabling achievements, but still intrested to hear if there are any)

I'd suggest waiting for the next patch, as there might be a fix for this in there.

(Sods law I managed to pick and like the one single archetype that is broken... currently I'm stuck as a Spodey >.< )

If you're willing to cheat then : setConsequenceTrait space_{put archetype here}
I use this when i'm not happy with my archetype but there are no empires aronud powerful enough to teach me.

Is this why you have almost all the archetype aachievments yet only one (or two?) actual games?

Without cheats, you can't. Tough luck, mate. You're stuck.

Indeed. I shudder to think how far back this was when it was revived. Has anyone else noticed the increase in thread revival lately?

It should be noted that the post that brought back this thread -- the suggestion to use a cheat to set the archetype -- is a valid contribution to this thread. This will help anyone who searches the sporum for help with this particular problem.

I wasn't accusing anyone of flaming. I'm just commenting and thanking Scorpio314 for providing an answer to another user's question. While it might not help Ryuujin, it will help others who have the same problem.

I'm all in favor of people commenting on original posts, even when they are old posts, if they are contributing useful information.
