I already posted on this matter on other thread dealing with controlling the content of the game, but I figure it applies here too. So I'm just coping and pasting it. Well, I'm editing slightly.

Have a means to simple have the options to check on and off the following:
Turn on Maxis Creations 
Turn on Own Creations 
Turn on Buddy Creations 
Turn on Sporecast Creations 
Turn on Untextured Creations

The game should prompt you if it would not have enough creation variety with certain selections. In those cases it should tell you want you would need more of.
For example: A message like this could appear.
• Not enough Level 3 Herbivores
• Not enough Religious Ground Vehicles
• Not enough Religious Sea Vehicles
• Not enough City Halls

Then the Player could click on any of the blue text to see the definition and/or be taken to examples of such creations. There could even be an option to download or to used from what was downloaded already to fill the gaps. This would ensure far more control over the Player's content for their game.

Sure, being able to say "I've got the achievement for finding Earth" is cool. But wouldn't it be great if you got special bonuses for completing achievements. e.g. Unlocking bonus mini-stages. I think the entire achievement system has been left in the dark. It hasn't improved since the game began and is never talked about.

I'm making my own thread on this topic, (Maxis should add Achievement bonuses to Spore!) so you can post any ideas there.

In the Sporepedia during the Space stage, it records planets and system names of planets that you have "landed" (zoomed in to). Please allow this to record, display, and be sorted by spice color and T-score.

I would like to be able to make translucent creatures. The closest thing to that is amking a black creature and making a black background. Like my sig.

I get bored trying to think of new colors to paint my creatures and constructions. I would like a "randomize" feature which picks colors and patterns at random.

Also, when one of my space civilizations looks at another, about half the time the color is darkish red, instead of what I set it as (I have black, dark blue green, dark blue, and forest green turning this color). The darkish red is ugly. Can I please have it what I set it as!?!?!

It would be really nice if in the space stage, you could set up floating cities or stations on the gas planets. They might not be able to harvest spice, but they could be used as "storage" for things such as artifacts, creatures, spice, plants, or other things that seem to fill up the cargo hold.

here’s a few things i’d like to see changed. i suspect some of them have already been brought up, in which case +1 to the number of people who want them.

0. fix things like the creators saving and uploading corrupted pngs and the in-game sporepedia search never being able to show me more than the first "page" of results (which is much less than a page when running the game at 1600x1200, by the way). i numbered this zero because i assume obvious bugs like these are already being worked on.
1. allow maxis creations to be deleted from the game like you can do with your own creations and downloaded creations (i haven't tried this in a while, so maybe you can?).
2. when playing one of the stages, if i see something i don't like (for example, i found a creature named shemale monster), i would like to be able to delete it right there and have the game pick something else to fill in that slot in the game. this could be done though the spy glass mode -- look at the creature/building/vehicle with the spy glass, and have a delete option there like it would be if i went to that creation through the sporepedia without going into one of my games.
3. allow rating creations from within the game. in both the sporepedia and spy glass mode when playing, i can leave comments but cannot rate. if i see something i like, it would be nice to rate it up and leave a comment right then. currently i only comment if i see something in game because it's too much work to find it on the website and rate it up there.
4. make it easier to add creations to sporecasts. i see two ways this could be done, and ideally both would be implemented. the first is to allow any card in the in-game sporepedia to be dragged onto a sporecast. the second whenever a card is selected, or viewed in the large view (this includes spy glass mode), have an add to sporecast button. clicking that button would give a list of your sporecasts so you could pick one to add it to. it would be nice if it also had the option of adding a new sporecast.
5. for the spore.com sporepedia, it doesn't say if a creature is from the creature, tribal, civ, or space stage. the same for vehicles in regard to being land/sea/air and religious/economic/military/colony, and buildings being city hall/house/factory/entertainment. ideally i'd like to be able to tell by looking at the card, but it should at least be on the popup -- instead of just "creature" it could say "tribal creature" for example.
6. add options to control what the game downloads. some suggestions are to ignore creatures that use creepy & cute parts or exoskeleton limbs, ignore creations with a certain tag, ignore creations with no description and/or no tags. my reasoning is that i don't have the creepy & cute pack so those creations are useless to me, most creations with no description and no tags are poor quality, and creations tagged gaprop are meant for galactic adventures so people who don't have that might not want them downloaded.
7. on spore.com, i'm always wanting to middle-click creations and open them in a new tab in the browser (for example, from someone's profile, or from the sporepedia). it would be great if the cards for creations actually were links so that this would work -- i am constantly closing the browser tab after looking at a creation when really i should have just closed the creation popup.

that should do for now at least :) if there's something i don't seem to know about that would help me with one of these, please let me know!

Creature Stage: I'd like to see effect emitters, like fire, gaseous fumes or anything similar in the creator, if possible, as an update (like the bug legs/arms update). They could also have different effects, e.g; gaseous fumes cause other creatures to get stunned for a moment when you first come into contact.

Tribal Stage: The Tribal Stage was a little too easy for me, so that could be harder: Have tribes that actually pose a significant threat on 'Hard' mode. Or just add an 'Expert' mode to the game.
Also, it should have far more items to get, for example, have more varied options for tribal members to be, like a Brew Master, who can take plants and sacrifice pets to make potions or poisons. This could have a preset where if creatures have a certain kind of body part, or/also if they have a certain diet, then mix it with a certain plant to make a potion. (E.g; A herbivore with wings' blood, mixed with a fruit bush makes a potion, which can fully heal a tribal member.)

Editors: Perhaps the Flora Editor and an 'Environment' editor, which allows you to make doodads, or even valuable things you can gather, other than spice, like crystals.

Extras: Ok, i know that this is a long shot, but another stage, pre-creature and post-cell, like the one shown in an early demo.
