Nature uses a few glue abilities (think spiderweb) so would it be useful to have an ability that affects the speed of opponents, whether you lay it down or string it up, or fire it directly? (There is some precedent for direct-fire glue in nature: spiders of a particular kind, and termites for two...).

Could it mitigate very very very fast predators, or even distract an epic?


What would negate it in creature defense? Being extra waxy, slimy, or slippery?
