Hello, and, after a long break, welcome back to the CSE. I'm sure you're wondering why this is back. Well it's cause of a few things. The first being, I'm sorta running out of things to do, figure I might as well do something semi-productive, even if it is just working with pixels.

P1 Introduction
Here at the Cortex Space Engineers, we try and provide high quality creations. From adventure props to a nice building for those of you still playing the "main game" to art just for the heck of it. We also try to reduce your time spent looking for individual threads, here we provide, as I said above, creations, and other features including a sig shop and a contest section.

Our community is very easy to become a member of, so long as you've been respectful to the users. If some people don't like you, I have every right to remove you, no questions asked.

tl;DR, Get out, this requires reading.

For those of you who just need a synapsis(spelling fail much?), we make spore creations, though that's become a side thing, sigs, other art forms, and we just chat and give advice as well, I'm not a very strict person when it comes to chatting, lol.

2. Please respect the users here, if I catch flaming for no good reason, I will remove you if you've joined, employee or community member, I don't give a crap who you are, I WILL ban you/suspend you. *puts a big brother poster up*
3. Continual abuse of rules will result in me consulting with SM's for your removal. If you MUST contact me, or the person who asked for your ban, please PM me/them, don't take it here.
4. While I don't mind idle chat, please try to mention spore at least every 10 pages, lol.

How to Join:
For joining as an employee, simply PM me asking to join. Include the small png of creations you'd like to have on the OP. If you could put them into a square using a photo editing program that'd be great.
To join as a community member, simply PM me or the Community Manager. I hold the master key to adding you, but I can be influenced by members, so if I don't like you, you better be nice to them, lol.

October 29th 2011- Mostly done. Just gotta add some coding and then get on a computer to do some finishing touches.
June 2nd 2011- I have begun redoing the OP, and sending out PM invites.

RogueGrox/L0rd_Fawful- Owner- IMPORTANT: I no longer have spore, due to some computer issues I only do Sigs right now. Owns all expansions but GA due to a bug. Prefers making spaceships or creatures. Despises building editor. Fawful is his alt.
MataRahi- Human- Does not really do spore creations as far as I know, he's in the art section.

Being a community member is really just for lul'z, I don't have a cash bonus to give you if you join, I don't have a game to give out, I don't have any crap like that. The only perks are just being less likely to be banned, and having your name(And if you wish, a link to your page) on the OP, and having some of your creations up if you want them. Just make sure to include it in the PM. Who knows? You might get some subs from here if you join. If you are inactive for more then about a month I will PM you asking you to post. If you do not within 3 days you will be removed. This only applies if you do not say that you will be gone for a bit for vacation or real life. I just don't want a huge list full of people trying a fairly bad way to get subs. Also, you will be able to submit creations for the Featured Creation if you're an employee or member.

Here is where the community can find some interesting things such as contests for the public and another special type of contest.
Also, here are a few explanations:
What to do with CSE Member Points- CMP(Cortex Member Points)(Likely to change) are a sort of currency, I suppose. I haven't thought them out much, lol. So far here are some plans:
Using 15 points can get you a higher position, which I am still planning out a bit. I do reserve the right to demote you if needed.
Using 30 points will give you an equivalent of a get out of jail free card. If you were flaming and I decided to suspend you, you can say that you'd like to use your points to get back in.
Using 9099 points will let you own the shop, lol

What are CCP?- CCP are basically member points, except for just community, not employee. CCP stands for Cortex Community Points. These currently have no use.

How do I earn points?- Easy, you can earn points by being helpful, making good creations, getting good feedback, suggesting good ideas, or just being plain awesome, lol. You also get points if you get featured art(One point per month on art.), or if you win contests. Also, you will receive points if you make an advertisement creation for us or one of our sponsors, tagged with CSEad, *name of place you're advertising*[I]
So for example, tags one on could be "CSEad, The, Shaman, Guild" OR "CSEad, The_Shaman_Guild"
You will recieve 5-10 points depending on the quality of the creation, and they will he compiled into a sporecast made by me.

Why are there two community sections?- Just cause. I don't tell you how to make your OP's. Plus this is
more to trim down the OP, lol. This is more of an FAQ/Contest section now.
