Log into EADM with your spore credentials. The pack should be available for download.

Thanks for the response, however the pack is no showing in the eadm and I'm also not sure where to find the pack on simprograms.com.....
btw I got the code from someone else (I'm not American) and I don't know if that affects the download...

Well I bought the game. Went home and installed it. I kept on asking me to download the patch so I did. Once I downloaded the patch there was a problem. Every time I went to load the game, it would tell me that there was an error in script 2000. Then the game goes to full screen for awhile, and then it goes to about hafe screen and tells me that spore was closed. This time though instead of closeing the update screen for adobe that came up, I installed the update, and another update for EA Download Manager. The game is still doing the same thing. Does anyone know how to fix it.

I'm afraid the only fix for 2000 error that I know of at least is a reinstall. Back up saves as of here

You should also back up My Spore Creations folder in (My) Documents!
uninstall everything then reinstall in the following order:
spore>patch 5.1>c&C>GA>robot parts.

It's like that. You need to make a dr. pepper account first so click register.

Recently got the pack, everything got through install alright.

First time going through the "Updating Content Server" I bailed fifteen minutes in because I need the computer for something else.

Second time through it was crashed by my screensaver popping up, too much to handle I guess.

I am on third time, and t has been going an hour and a half now (screen saver and the like is off right now)

How long should I allow it to sit on "Updating Content Server" until I declare it futile?

It depends on how many items are in your in game sporepedia and how fast your computer is. On my old PC, I had 70,000 items and left the PC on over night. It still said "content updating" when I checked it in the morning. However, I rebooted the PC and it worked just fine on the first run (no "updating content" message).

Others have reported up to an hour.
I would give it a total of 2 hours, then reboot the PC. (this is just a guess).

I started my third run at exactly 3:22 pm. Came home from class at, eerily enough, exactly 8:22 pm and, in those five hours, it hadn't finished.

I restarted and got on. I can use bot parts to make creations, but everyone elses creations that use bot parts are still locked (in their words because I lack core spore, which is of course untrue)

I didn't have the EADM and I don't have one now I don't know where to get it and when I tried to download it it said firefox was not letting it and I don't know whet to do. Now when I try to download it, it give me the 500 error thing.

On MySpore, it says I have the bot parts, but they aren't showing up in-game. where exactly do I save the parts to? The default doesn't work.

it does not crash they just didnt make the simbol spin

never use firefox for downlading stuff trust me use ie8 or safari for windos or crome

If the program appears to be locked up (not responding), this is normal. The software has to make changes to everything in your sporepedia. depending on the number of items in your sporepedia and the speed of you computer, it may take a while. On my older pc (single core CPU) with 80,000 items in my sporepedia, it too several hours (I left the machine on over night).

If it crashes to the desktop, this is not normal.
