Unfortunately, that is true. And Maxis knows about this. I'm not sure yet what they can do about it, I'll let you know when I find out. Our goal here is to create a setting that fosters the least amount of abuses possible within a rating system situation.

You have my support, but how do we stop the things we create in game from being uploaded? fraid I can't boycot till I know that... also, Is it Maxis's fault that some people don't use their products correctly? I think what they should do is say that to rate you need to have atleast 5 planets under your control in the space stage. it will also stop those SPORE noobs that can't make anything but still think they could do a better job than you from spamming you, although I have yet to notice that.

If the game was actually challenging to play I would support that. But since a blob with a mouth can pass for a creature and a blank square can work for a city hall, a religious vehicle and a spaceship, it's not that difficult to control 5 planets in space stage. I'm willing to bet a 5-year old could.

My five year old only likes playing the creature stage. Space phase would simply confuse her. It may be that she's not used to gaming as spore is the only game she has really played with.

Ok, I may have pushed it too far on my last post (and I should really know it since I'm a psychologist) but it was more to make a point.

You're right in saying space stage would confuse your daughter. She could work within tribe with a little initial help (though she probably won't like it as much as creature), but anything above that would be too much.

Anyway, I still say the game is too overall simplistic and easy for you to use any such accomplishment as the drawing line for who's a serious player and who's not.

Besides, I wouldn't be surprised if your daughter is more of a serious player than many older guys (and gals) who play SPORE.

Okay, I'm in. Posting my Nova Incorporated and other stuff on Xenoculture till Maxis come up with a decent solution.

Yep,I'm not posting creations untill it's fixed.I can't anyway,the game always tells me that I can't share due to a server error.

EA did not engineer the rating system. EA reps actually have no clue how it functions. But thenagain, they tend to be rather clueless.

Im not to sure what PUT AN END TO THE DELETION OF CREATIONS is.. is it when your creations gets to many down votes that its deleted? so you know I live under a rock if thats the case then Im with you... if not I as in life I dont care what down raters say or do. In this world some people have nothing better to do but make others mad... just because their sucks!! I work with the SPORE and see this everyday..... I hate my job... Anyways if you let them get you down they win!! they feed on the misery of others. I say let them starve ...
