as i said before, i installed it and i have the bot parts dowloaded but i do not actully have the installed.
i was confused on what exactly do i do to install them and were are they located right now.

Did you check the Spore area of your EADM? I haven't been able to download them yet (an issue I think Maxis is still working on amongst all the other problems that have been encountered), so I'm not entirely sure on what that looks like, but if you open up your EADM, in your account page/tab there should be the 2010 Dr.PEpper Promotion Bots Parts PAck or something like that with an installation option next to or under or above or around it. Sorry if that wasn't much, but I hope I was of some help to you!

Umm... I'm sorry if it's been answered before, but this is where I'm at so far, and I can't find any page that addresses this:

I redeemed my prize, I have the Bots Pack in my profile, but when I click on "Start downloading my purchases", it just takes my to my profile. I've tried clearing my cache, different browsers, but it still doesn't work.

Could you please help me?

EDIT: I've read about the Simprograms, and I was wondering if that's the only way. Apart from that I'm going to use that download because I'm fed up.

Yeah, this happens occasionally and has been passed along to Maxis. Did you try logging into EADM and see if the download is there? Use the email adress you used on Dr. Pepper's site.

I have the same exact problem. Since I don't really want to use the download, I'm going to wait for now until Maxis finds a solution to the problem. If you take SporemasterSlime's suggestion and check your EADM to see if the download is there and don't see it, then we're still in the same boat. Good luck!

Yes! I clicked on the download today and the link worked! Thank you to SporemasterSlime for the support with my problem, and to Maxis and EA for fixing it! I have successfully downloaded the Bots Parts PAck and installed it.

Please help I've downloaded and installed the bot parts and every thing is fine but when ever I play in the editor or any of the stages none of the animations work when ever I walk around in creature stage my creature just hovers over the ground and moves but its legs don't move and when a creature tries to attack me they just stand there and follow me...

Floating animation and no asymmetry after installing patch 1.05
Please try browsing to the SporeApp.exe file and launching the game from there, it is located within the c:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Spore\Sporebin folder for regular core Spore and at C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\SPORE_EP1\SporebinEP1\SporeApp.exe for Spore Galactic Adventures. If that works you can try creating a new desktop icon pointing to the location for your Spore core or Spore GA SporeApp.exe file.

(the robot parts automatically install patch 1.05 too)

Funny, I download the Bot Parts... And I had absolutely 100% no problems at all X3 And I don't have a beefy machine either.

i am installing the parts right now, hopfully it will work for me.

if not....i don't know what to say...
