Mac users.... be happy that's its even coming out you've bought the game played it and yet even though they have their money from you they still try to make this game better. they could just leave it but instead they try to make this game better for us all. you should be thankful that its coming out, not complaining about how long u must wait. SIT TIGHT AND WAIT.

we are growing tired of this delay! all of the spore users with macs
are complaining. we macs may be a smaller audience to entertain,
but nevertheless we are a audience. maxis, you dont get us this patch soon,
i may lose interest, along with many others.

We are waiting for this patch for my son's mac. I know it's hard to wait, but after all, you should be happy they are working on it and making sure it's bug-free.

When I was programming at my last shop, they made very few patches for the mac. It was harder to code for and debug.

We used to joke that every mac was a giant, expensive, dongle for running OS X.

It just isn't a platform with really open developer access, the way the PC is. I'm not saying PC is better, I'm saying it is more accessible to developers.

we should all understand the troubles that maxis is going through to debug it for mac. I think they just said "oh lets do this new patch!" and forgot that the software that they are doing the making on is not the only softwar so he initial deebug system and plenty of other stuff cannot work with a mac. (sucks doesn't it?)

Hey! I have the same problem as Xavier836, I can't see downloaded asymmetric creatures on my Mac! Do somebody know how to fix this?

Im a mac user and again I really have felt left out and abandoned with patch 5. but what i want to know is why don't you just release the patch (for both PC and Mac) at the same time? then this thread wouldn't be full of angry mac users

Now Maxis needs to make an in-game unlimited dna and such.
