Hey all I'm wondering if you can help me
Note: I'm not sure if this is in the right section

I'm making an adventure where a star ship is bombing a planet using a meteorite(in fixed objects) and explosive barrels. I want the meteorites to keep respawning but when i set the respawn time the meteorite hits the ground, bounces a few times and sits there. I waited but the meteorite did not respawn. Is there any way to make them respawn?
Is there some secret way to kill them?

90% of teens today would die if Myspace had a system failure and was completely destroyed. If you are one of the 10% that would be laughing, copy and paste this to your signature

I don't think it can respawn because it's indestructible.

Now I'm wondering why it has a respawn timer.......

I think it's just a technical thing that they did since all of the other items can re spawn.

It might be that they respawn if you 'collect' them, but I've never tested that feature.

Maybe if you make the meteor itself a crate or exploding barrel, it will be destroyed.

I don't think they can be disguised

No, disguise the crate or exploding barrel as a meteorite.

Yes they will respawn if you collect them or if you have NPC's pick them up and give them to buildings (or other static objects).

Another option is to make them timed bombs and have small NPC's pick them up

I find that explosive barrels and crates aren't subject to gravity.

I've tried having them drop on people before.

Highly unsatisfactory.

Using a bomb in disguise would work perfectly, but it'd be hard to get it to a reasonable size, if that matters to you.

Size doesn't matter it just needs to look like the ship is bombarding a city! I'm going to test the ideas in my testing zone.

Maybe create your own "Meteor" in Creature Creator. That way it can die.
Or maybe you can use this guy:
