What's the hold up? It's been a month and you have yet to release the patch for Mac users!!!

C'mon My computer crashes constantly because of some errors that won't be debugged. Just do it. I wanna play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please people, we don't have to protest. That won't make it come out any faster, and even if they did release it sooner than they intended it would probably be filled with bugs. So please let them finish their work. Although I would politely like to ask the Maxis people when we may expect this patch to come out for us Mac users.

my thing wont download. i open spore and it continues on its own business. Theres no downloading of a patch at all!
I tried the aysmetry thing and it didnt work.

When do us macs get it?It's been 3 weeks since it came out for PC! Come on!

Pardon me, Maxis...

I have heard of some problems with the new patch in terms of the Sporepedia in game. When the patch is installed, the asymmetric creatures are not uploaded. Every thing has been tried; unsubscribing and re-subscribing, adding it to a sporecast, and clicking the download button on the sporepedia card. However, there are always either error messages like: "This creature has already been uploaded" or another message like: "This creature has been downloaded. Click in the 'everything' tab to find it." However, the creature does not show up in the in-game sporepedia card, even under "Everything!" The only way to do that is to search the name of the creation in the search box. The creature does not show up under a sporecast or the buddy's name.

Please help us, Maxis! This patch is very good; we just want it to be the best. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

I wish I could give more details on the release date for the Mac patch 5. I know it's very frustrating to wait. We are working to get this out to you as soon as possible. Any delays are so that we can ensure the highest quality patch for our Mac users that avoids introducing new issues.

To all mac users: Have patience for Spodes Sake! i know its been a while but Macs are complex machines and making a patch for a game on a Mac is gonna take a while. Maxis is working there hardest on it

i know its just all the pcs are commenting on how great it is. it hurts to be left out!

Be patient, it will come. It's worth being patient for, not to rub it in.

By the way, anyone hear about patch 6 ?

I feel for you brother. All my life I never complained about Spore despite what others said, but on this day I finally have broken down. I am loosing my trust in Maxis to make things right. You said check back soon, this is a lie. We all checked back soon and were disappointed to see that it wasn't up yet. We don't care about the patch itself, but we want the honest truth, how many more weeks are we going to be w8ing MaxisCactus till this patch comes out and why on Earth is this patch different then the others cause all the other Mac patches came out a few days after the PC patch. I am sorry to say, but I think Maxis got lazy and decided to work on them one at a time instead of all at once, unfairly giving PC the patch weeks before Mac users, if your going to do that at least hold them all till their done and release them a the same time for all computers. That way no one feels left out. PC users you have to understand we mac players are not whining anymore this is honest to Spode pleading with Maxis to give us equality in the gaming world that we expect for quality companies. Give me Mac Patch 5.0, or give me death!
