You know the H2 car? Well, I've come up with some ideas. Get an electrolyzer, to make HHO gas (Hydrogen on Demand). The electrolyzer is powered by batteries. Now, recharging the batteries is the issue. I came up with a plan on how to recharge them. Steam is the exaust from the engine. Now, you could power a generator by steam, which is plentiful since the car makes it. You could use solar panels also, to recharge the batteries, and an alternator. Help me come up with the ideas for this car I'm planning on building in a couple of years. Well, more like modifing a gasoline car to do all of these things.

Ideas?

I don't know, you might have to get the rights to use 'On Demand'.

That sounds expensive, ugly, and just plain unnecessary.

No it's already a scientific term. I don't need rights for it.

And it'll stop pollution, and power your car on water, and you only have to refill it every 3 months, and recharge it every week. So there. This is a good idea.

In fact, it's already been done.
Thus, it is a failure.

you would need far too many solar panels for it to be practical. You're thinking though! ((that's a good sign))

Is that supposed to be an insult? Anyways, I think it's possible, and I'll prove it. This thread is about ideas, not saying it's not possible.

Without denouncement ideas are nothing, but myth.

Not an insult...

I was just pointing out the impracticality of your idea. Solar panels and steam powered generators arent enough...

Yeah, I didn't say you didn't have to recharge it. I said it would make you have longer intervals between recharges.

Another Idea would be simple generators on the axis. They could slightly recharge the batteries as you drive.

Steam generators? Compact ones would take a good deal of pressure, which would mean bulk. Now if you were late getting home from work. and you wanted to kick your broccoli while you were driving home...

Seriously, remember all of this stuff adds more mass, which means less performance. See Top Gear's review of the Tesla Roadster to see what I mean. That's also the reason I have a hard time believing the stated recharge interval.

Brilliant idea.

I suggest you patent your ideas before all of those car companies steal them.
