trust me i need some serious tricks on handling black holes,they can mess me up and they screwed me up i found myself stuck on what seemed to be the farthest point from the center of the galaxy in the game for a LOOOONG time

You can change the name using a cheat of any black hole, that way you'll know where each one ends up (open up the cheatbox and type help, then you'll find it). There was also something like "the galaxy mapping project" around, a few months back, make a search you might find it. It might help you.

Thanks but that cheat got me the joker badge before I DONT WANT TO RISK IT

I've used the rename cheat before and I didn't get the badge. I'm not 100% sure though.

Simplest way to deal with being stuck on the other side of the galaxy is just to keep star-hopping until you die and respawn at your nearest colony. Otherwise, just remember or map out on paper the path through the black holes you took. Or don't go through so many of them in one journey.

Or enter a barren planet and let geysers destroy your ship.

There was a rumour goin round a while back that said if you got that acheivement then the cheat that got you the acheivement was locked. I guess it was JUST a rumour, but it scared me for a while

It's really easy to get lost in wormhole systems. It happened to me once, and I never found my way back to my homeworld. :/

You are wrong, Slyguy. Renaming wormholes is NOT a cheat!

It seems to a common misconception that EVERYTHING that you do with the ctrl-shift-c editor in Spore is a "cheat". Nope, actually the majority of the available commands are not considered cheats by the Spore game.

I have labeled ALL of the wormholes in my game with where they go. The way I do it is to keep the old name, but add which galaxy arm it goes to (earth's arm is number 1 and the rest clockwise). I also include the angle and parsecs from center. For example: "rename star UIP-74685c->1-227˚7629".
