Challenge Details
If you played Psychic Spore, you'll have noticed that several creations from a themed set show up in every round.

Get your own creations to show up in the Psychic Spore game and win a chance to be featured! In the Psychic Spore Challenge, make your own set of creations with a new tagword that's not already used in the game. Check your word against this word list to see if you've got an original one.

Not sure what to make? Just pick any noun and create a set of creations that represent different versions of that word. Make sure to tag your creations with that word.

What will the challenge winner get?

A chance to be featured on Spore.com! Also, the best words will be added to the Psychic Spore game! Your creations will show up if they are the highest rated creations tagged with those words.

We'll post our favorite submissions here, then YOU get to vote for which one is your top pick! The winner may be featured if it meets our criteria for featured creations.

• Each creation must not have any parent authored by a different creator.
• Each creation must not have any offensive creation in its lineage (any parent or child creations).
• Each creation must not have any links or references to other sites in the submission's tags, name, or description

Submissions that do not meet the above criteria will not be eligible to win

How to Enter:
• Create 8 or more creations in any editor(s). Publish these with the tag mcpsychicchallenge and the tagword you're submitting.
• Add all creations in your set to a Sporecast tagged with mcpsychicchallenge.
• Use the template above to submit your entry on the forum.
• Optional: Post screenshots and links here on the forum

Rules:
• All creations in your Sporecast entry must be made by you.
• Your creations may be made in any editor(s)
• You can submit as many Sporecasts as you like (each with at least 8 creations). Remember that each Sporecast should only contain representations of one tagword.
• All submissions must be in by 11:00am PDT 12/4


Challenge FAQ:
Q: What if two people choose the same word?
If two people choose the same word, the quality of their sample creations will determine the outcome.

Q: Can you give more specifics on what kinds of words are OK?
• Use a noun
• Make it singular unless it wouldn't make sense without being pluralized (such as "jeans")
• Don't use copyrighted words
• The level of granularity is up to you. Your word can be specific, or general (such as "dino" or "velociraptor")
• Phrases are not allowed, nor are hyphenated words. The word must be one word, no spaces or special characters or numbers.

Fractal has already been used. There goes my great idea. Darn I'll have to think of something else.

Edit: Hmm, are some of the words supposed to be in the list twice?

The repeated words shouldn't be an issue, but the list can be cleaned up in the future.

Paramagnetic, there are curently some site issues that are resulting in Spore.com swfs to not show up properly. Some have found that switching browsers resolves this, possibly because they're hitting a different server.

In the mean time, you shouldn't hesitate to get started. I did already see your bicycle creature show up in the game on the bicycle tag. Was high quality, so I'd like to see what else you come up with.
