Ok, the way this works is I will give a description of a creature at least once every three days.
You will do your best to follow the guidelines and create a creature based upon my instructions.

For example: I say make a creature with a round, green body and a hand sticking out of it's ears, you post a pic or link of a creature close to that description. (I will be WAY more specific than that in the contest, but just so you get the idea.) Only your own creations! You can use any part(s) you want, but it has to fit the description.

You will have until the end of the third day to post your creatures. I will pick one winner and post it up front for all to see the following day.

How your creations should be posted:
Follow these if you want to be considered for the contest!

1: Tag your creature with "Simonsays#(?) The number of the contest will go where the question mark is. example: this is the first contest so tag with: "Simonsays#(1).
2. You may post a picture or link here, as long as it is for the contest.
3. Entries must be posted before the deadline.

Ok, next creature: Make me a turtle-ish creature with short, fat spikes on the shell and a patch of feathers on the tail.

The Description of the Creature of the Day doesnt make much sense, "one extremely fat grasper on the right, just underneath it's single eye"? This Sounds like a Good Idea for a Thread. But maybe you should use Creatures People already know what it looks like. For Example: A Small Fury Frog with one smaller leg, 2 Bulging Eyes & Red Spots Running Down its Back.

I Understand you can see this Creation of yours in your mind so it makes sense when you Typed it. But if your going to Pull Interest into this Page. Make things a little more Practical, like a Dog or a Mouse or a Robot, etc...

This is a Very Interesting Idea you have & id Love to see this Page Grow.

The point of the thread is for people to read some instructions and make a creature as close to it as possible.
The real goal is to see how people interperet things differently, and how people see things differently in their mind.

We did this in social studies! We all ended up drawing a fpur eyed two headed eight legged monster, when really it was a rider on a horse!

This has nothing to do with Simon says. You should have each of the instructions start with "Simon says give this creatures 60 arms and eighteen fingers" plus a few false ones that don't count, like "Give the creature contact lenses". That would be more like Simon says.

You make a good point, and that would be interesting, but the way the real simon says works is with oral instructions. You have to listen to "simon". Here you could just read the instructions and ignore the false ones. It doesn't work quite the same way. Appreciate the suggestions though. And i think "Spore Simon Says" is a better name than "Create the Creature I Describe to You" See what i mean?

Wellllll, I can't call this a total bust.... I gained a buddy and received several comments and rates on this creation.

But I wasn't in this to win.... or I would have added a bigger claw.

Might I suggest running this for 3 days at a time instead of 1? To be honest, I think this could be fun for everyone and it just needs a bit of a chance.
