Hi,
I finally got some decent hosting and a domain name for my Spore Forum.
I am slowly moving posts over from www.sporefanforum.forumotion.com
to my new domain.

Down the bottom of the page is a link and the banner. Please tell me any recommendations and problems so I can make it a better site that everyone can enjoy. Please remember it is still under construction.

uh why did you make a duplicate? you already made a thread about advertiseing your fansite. all you did was change the name....unless its a different site from the one listed in this thread:

This is a different site.
New Name, new Interface and new Host.
I am copying stuff over from my old site because I am going to close it down.
Is it possible for a Moderator to delete my old thread as it is now going to be pointing to a dead link?

To be fair, I don't think the other one was ever going to take off.
It was kinda ugly and Had a horrible domain name.
This one is easy to remember and in a few days I should have finished customizing the theme.

What's the point of this website when there is already an official forum to talk about spore?

When should you double-post?

1. If you need to reserve space below the first post in a thread for future updates, double-posting is just fine. Using a single post to hold the entire contents of a large fanclub or creation showcase can quickly become confusing for readers.
2. If your post comes after the last post in a thread which is also your own and a new post hasn't shown up for quite a while (say an hour), then you can double-post without fear. However, if you find that you're suddenly the only person posting 4 posts later, the thread just might be dead.
3. If you are posting in a showcase thread made specifically for showing off your creations, it may be better to double-post a new creation in order to bump the thread instead of editing the primary post. This is more valid if the thread is buried particularly deep in the forum.
4. If editing your original post creates an enormous or confusing wall of incomprehensible text, a second post is fine.

BTW I am looking for a decent moderator.Shadeofmoose318 was my moderator ,but he seems to disappear every now and then and I can't contact him.

I think I have fixed the 404 error too.Users are steadily coming in, Please tell me what you think.
