Sorry for the confusion. I wasn't saying you did on this ship I was saying that IF you wanted to take other peoples apart to see their methods, and apply them to your own work, that's a great way to learn, and can help you build better ships. You were expressing concern about being able to compete. Learning from other builders is one of the best ways to learn. Your current ship is your work, absolutely.

Please remember to tag it if you haven't already

Okay then:

HMS Reliant
(pic is clicky)

HMS Reliant is one of the oldest ships in the Valkyrian fleet, however, Reliant is not merely one ship; rather she is a more of an institution. Her name has been in continuous service for just over three hundred years. The first Reliant was not actually a part of the Valkyrian Star Kingdom. Instead, the ship was actually a survivor of the original flotilla that escorted the colony ships to the Valkyrian sector from Old Earth.

Sydney-class (CL-412)
When the colony flotilla came under attack by pirates shortly before the end of their journey, Reliant’s captain interposed his ship between the flotilla and the raiders and fought a running battle into the Valkyrian star system—a battle that he could not hope to win. While Reliant was lost with all hands, she succeeded in destroying four pirate cruisers before going down, and managed to delay the pirates long enough for the colony ships to reach their new home without further incident.

Courageous-class (CA-203)
Sixty-five years later, King Rodney personally attended the commissioning ceremony for the new Courageous-class heavy cruiser HMS Reliant, in honor of the original ship. The second Reliant served for over thirty years, primarily assigned to expansion operations to increase the young Star Kingdom’s sphere of influence. While not exactly glamorous assignments, Reliant served with distinction protecting merchant convoys and colony ships from raider attacks until she was decommissioned after thirty-three years of service and seven commanding officers.

Broadsword-class (BC-435)
The third Reliant was a Broadsword-class battlecruiser and the first of the line to be considered a capital ship. This Reliant was assigned as the squadron flagship for Battlecruiser Squadron 23 and led the Star Kingdom’s forces in the first battle of Sirocco after it had been discovered that the government of Sirocco had been unofficially sanctioning pirate activities and providing safe haven to pirate vessels operating within the Star Kingdom. The Valkyrian assault on Sirocco would become a defining moment for the Star Kingdom as a whole.
As the battle reached its peak, the bulk of the outnumbered Valkyrian forces had been scattered to avoid total destruction, leaving Reliant and two squadrons of light cruisers to hold the center of the lines. Outnumbered 6-1 in numbers and 4-1 in firepower, Siroccans expected the center of the Valkyrian lines to break and scatter to avoid direct action against impossible odds.
Instead, Reliant drove into the center of the Siroccan wall of battle and miraculously succeeded in drawing the fire of the entire wall, which in turn allowed the remainder of the light cruiser squadrons to wreak absolute havoc on the Siroccan fleet. Thirty-six Siroccan Ships of the Wall were annihilated by a mere eight light cruisers while suffering only one loss in return: HMS Reliant. The remainder of the Valkyrian fleets regrouped and proceeded to dictate terms to Sirocco in orbit of their own planet.

Star Knight-class (BC-435-A)
Fifty years ago, a new HMS Reliant was commissioned; this one was one of the new Star Knight-class battlecruisers. The fourth HMS Reliant initially served as the command ship for Battlecruiser Squadron 21, and was assigned to Task Force 18 and sent to aid in suppressing the insurrection during the infamous Peacekeeping of Palamar. Over the next nine years Reliant would see combat on over two hundred separate occasions during the insurrection.
Towards the end of the insurrection, the queen’s flagship HMS Atomos was caught out of position with only a small picket force to defend her. A squadron of rebel battlecruisers led by the commandeered battleship HMS Agrippa bore down on the unprotected Atomos. While Reliant and her squadron could not hope to intercept the rebels before they reached the queen, Reliant was able to manage a spectacular feat of tactical legerdemain, by firing her total missile compliment in one massive volley in a slingshot around Palamar itself. The missiles, hyper-accelerated by the slingshot came up on the unsuspecting rebels from behind and destroyed three of the rebel battlecruisers and crippled the Agrippa. Shortly thereafter, Reliant and her squadron were able to close to within beam range at their leisure and obliterated the rebel force, taking the Agrippa intact but badly damaged.

Reliant-class (BC-435-B)
The current HMS Reliant is named for her own class of battlecruisers. At present, she is the only one of her class in service while the admiralty works out budgetary issues with the mass-production of the class. Though new, Reliant is not untested. She has already seen combat against a squadron of Arthian Q-Ships which were under orders to disrupt Valkyrian merchant traffic.
It was by mere chance that Reliant discovered the Q-Ships while they were in the middle of an in-mission resupply. Three of the Q-Ships broke off their resupply and immediately moved to engage the Valkyrian warship, believing that they had a distinct advantage in both tonnage and firepower over what they perceived to be merely just another battlecruiser. Reliant not only outmaneuvered the Q-Ships, but used that superior maneuverability to position herself for a brilliant three-for-one combination salvo of both beam and missiles that completely destroyed two of the Arthian vessels and severely crippled the third which immediately signaled her surrender. The remaining two Q-Ships broke off their resupply and fled. Reliant was otherwise occupied with the surrendering Q-Ship and was unable to pursue.
Over the centuries, HMS Reliant has achieved an almost legendary status within the Star Kingdom. Her battle record is unique with in the Star Kingdom, being carried from each previous ship to her successors--a phenomenon not found on any other Valkyrian ship. The legacy of the Reliant and the prestige attached to the ship makes her an extremely desirable posting for any officer.

At present, HMS Reliant is assigned as the sector flagship for the Valkyrian Star Kingdom’s 3rd fleet.

(author's note: at this time only the final ship is actually uploaded. please let me know if the other ships are required)

The Tomar Class (galaxy class) battlestar was first developed at the onset of the 3rd intergalactic war. In an era before the advent of I.I.D. engines the Tomar class was developed with intent to deliver troops to distant battlefields quickly. And then to provide the firepower to subdue planetary defenses while the troop transports were deployed. To accomplish this task two of the largest sub-light engines ever made were fitted to the hull. Unable to exceed light speed, the Tomar was nonetheless able to attain 86% of it. The Tomar was rarely pushed to this limit over long distances due to the NAV computers being unable to calculate and input course corrections quick enough to provide safe passage. In fact the first prototype was lost with all hands when the ship came to close to the rings of the planet Seanmtea in the Horgath star system and collided with them. Still the Tomar class battlestar served with distinction in most of the major battles that occured.

By the 4th intergalactic war, Tomar Class ships had been retrofitted with second generation I.I.D. engines and new quantum computers allowing the Tomar to exceed lightspeed over long distances. The cryo/stasis chambers were thus removed and the space converted to additional weapons ports and ammunition storage. Troop areas were moved to a set of pylons located at the fore of the ship. The Tomar class was used sparingly during the 4th IG war as the tactics of war had shifted to favor small carrier ships that could enter a star system and deploy a squadron of heavy fighters and then leave the system. Returning when the battle was over to collect the fighters. Still, it should be noted that in the 17 operations in which a Tomar class ship participated only one was lost. And that lose was at the infamous battle of Shengenook, when Admiral Choldune used his flagship to ram the Overlan's weapons array before is could be made operational, thus winning the battle and saving the planet.

In space dock for nearly a quarter century the last Tomar class battlestar was reactived and retrofitted under the direct orders of Ronaldus Maximus. A new set of outriggers were added to the ship to provide additional personnel to operate a small squadron of defense fighters which were added to defend the ship and to house additional generators for a newly implemented photonic shield system. Missile and other projectile weapons were replaced with kinetic light cannons. And troop deployment ships were replaced with hardened individual troop deployment pods. The massive sub-light engines were not only retained but improved, giving the ship unmatched maneuvering despite it's envenoms size. It now serves as the flagship of the Imperium and is deployed with the Imperial Armada to all points of the empire when needed.

Below is the most typical display from enemy combat computers.

The navigation signal conducted the spaceship through hyperspace. The finale of the longstanding confrontation with pirate clans, who brazenly terrorizing dozens of star systems, was approaching ...

Dux went out into the usual space just near the navigation beacon on the edge of the asteroid field. There in the depths of the huge asteroid pirates created shipyard and the whole pirate fleet came to their defense.

The headquarters headed by the admiral was located on Dux, and from this ship they directed the offensive on the most important pirate object. The victory here meant the end of an era of terror and fear in this sector. The main task of the ship was to coordinate the actions of the entire advancing fleet, from large and non-rotatable carriers, to numerous and brisk fighters. Powerful transmitters continuously received and sent terabytes of data, simultaneously interfering in the enemy signals.

In the hangar located under the captain's bridge came a small ship and a little awkwardly sat on the flight deck. This is returned reconnaissance men. During the week, they created map of the entire asteroid field, up to the slightest cobblestones no bigger than a fist. It was according to their data that the plan of attack was developed and it was they who placed the navigation beacon for the exact and unexpected exit of the attacking fleet from hyperspace.

Dux took a position away from the direction of the main strike of the fleet, but if necessary he could join the battle and support the attack of the allies. The shields were put into combat mode and the energy was redirected to the gun systems, mainly to the AA defense system. The squadron of heavy fighters escaped from the Dux hangar and took a defensive position around the ship, the remaining two squadron were ready to take off at any time.

In the huge spherical hall in the center of the ship was the command center. A holographic tactical map was projected onto the whole room, in effect the entire hall disappeared, and the admiral and his staff were as if in outer space. Around them floated asteroids, fighters were built in battle formations, cruisers unfolded guns, and in the distance could be seen the shipyards. Near each object, tactical information was displayed.

And now, having received confirmation of readiness from all the ships of the fleet, the admiral gave the order for an attack. The missile launchers of cruisers says first word in this battle...

P.S. Sorry again for my English.

DESCRIPTION
(spelled right this time)

BCS DATALOG 21190:

According to the most up-to-date information, the Guardian of Forever is a special Erubian battleship designed for raw, untamed warfare. It was commissioned as part of Erubia's "Unofficial Assets" once the Galactic Alliance became a serious threat to the Empire, and to Andromeda. The 'Forever' in its name might be referring to an ancient Archon construct known as the Spiridus, which has been a closely guarded secret for quite some time. Its capabilities as of now are unknown, but the fact that nearly half of the entire Erubian Navy frequently guards the weapon suggests that it is capable of devastating effects.

The Guardian of Forever itself is a converted and heavily scaled-up Galactic Alliance Conqueror Battleship. Its official designation is 'Light Dreadnought' as it reaches a length of 8 kilometers, adding almost 3 kilometers to the original ship's length. Its armor has substantially increased in both thickness and material strength, and it is thought that a very thin layer of the near indestructible, highly rare and expensive material known as 'starheart' coats the entire vessel. Its weapons have been doubled, its shields amplified, and existing railguns, massdriver and heat-based weapons have all been increased thoroughly in size.

What did surprise the top brass however was its incredible maneuverability. Although the ship's primary engines were replaced, the sub-engines on the side were not changed. The Guardian gained extreme turning abilities and has since its construction, has proved that it was simply the deadliest Erubian vessel short of a super dreadnought.

As of now, the Alliance has classified the vessel as a top priority, and many captains hope to be the one to fire the killing shot on the Guardian.

The Guardian has fought in several battles and has a confirmed 216 kills, although there could be more. It also fought in the massive battles of Sector 47. In one such battle, she was able to hold off against 5 equally-sized Alliance ships and after 2 hours of pure fighting, was able to even win. It also fought in the major battle of Eruvar, an Erubian military stronghold. Although the battle was an overall defeat, during the surprise attack during the latter half of the battle, the Guardian was able to destroy 37 Alliance N-Class cruisers, 3 Type-B Battleships, and one of the the Alliance's fleet command ships. It even picked off one Star Knight class destroyer with a single massdriver shot. Erubian remnants were driven out of Eruvar, and the Guardian was one of the few ships left. It sustained a heavy blow to the bow but cannot get a repair immediately because of an urgent call from the GHQ.

A massive Alliance invasion fleet is on its way to attack what has been classified as a 'planet-killer' type superweapon. Little did they know that it was actually Spiridus. Although a massive Erubian protection fleet is already stationed there, several backups are on their way, including the Guardian. The Guardian is on its way to prove that it can truly save "Forever" from total destruction, and live up to its name.

So. The production is just completed and here is the result!

The ISS Crownbreaker

So much for the ship. The story is now being developed and will be published in the next few days. I'm sorry that it takes a little longer but I need a while to translate from German to English.

So I have a bit of a problem. Ever since that update last spring I've be unable to login in game. Since I got Spore way back in 2008 on CD, I can't update it in any easy way. Origin was supposed to connect my game to my account so I could download it, but it didn't. Even if I contact EA support to fix it (which I do not want to deal with) my internet is currently way too slow to re-download the whole game.

Long story short, I can still make stuff, but I am unable to upload it to the Sporepedia.

If anybody has advice on this, it would be appreciated.
