It might be best to rename Naturism to Naturalism, because Naturism means something incredibly different...

Naturism has been changed to Naturalism,Naturalism fits it way better.

Also look at this post for Evolutionism/Mechanism/Cyberism later on.

I got one Humanism, you start off on earth but the grox distroyed all life on it. So you wander to your new home planet.(the one you choose at the begining) and then try to find your way back!

Looks like Cyberism as won.

Cyberism:

This is your goal; become the most advanced species in the galaxy. In this archtype your goal is to become as advanced as possible, you need to upgrade as fast as you can,it does not matter the cost of it you must get better any way you can. Money is no object to you,you steal, bribe,do anything in your power to advance your self. Next you seek the next most advance species near you and destroy and take over their empire. You follow this until you reach the Grox....

Once you reach their first system destroy and take over it,and repeat this or before you reach the Grox you can convert other empires to your way of life. After the grox is finish you make you philosophy known by converting any species lower than you,if they get get angry, sends to many call s for help,or does anything that pleases you,you do what you did with the grox destroy and inhabit there systems.

This archetype might require some role-play,by making your ship super detailed and awesome, and only making allies
with very intellegent creatures. In this archetype your allies (if you have any) will be Reapers,Anti-Groxinsts,and your greatest allies Perfactionists.

This can take more friendly pass with you uplifting all races.

This archetype will go well with Zealots and Scientists.

what about

modifi-ism :
you believe anything can be better with an extra arm or a leg
you must modify anything you see on your planet - (animals, T-score)
every new planet you gain or land on must be modified in some way every time you visit it.
any race you befriend needs new everything on there planets vehicles, buildings, animals must be edited at least once.
your citizens need to be fashionable at all times every time you complete a mission you must trade in the old clothing for the new fashion season . this is just a brief description feel free to add anything

I had an idea but I don't know what to call it. I was thinking 'Corephilia' but that sounds too much like coprophilia, which is disgusting. In fact just about everything with 'phil' in it (except philosophy) sounds gross.

This requires a little imagination, but you are an unfortunate race who started at the very tip of one of the spiral arms of the galaxy (it helps if you start your save file near the tip) and you aspire to occupy the galactic core. This means that the first colony you place must be at the tip (forget about your homeworld).

To progress, you must colonise your way to the core, only allowing yourself to move from your colonies to stars within range and you must not go out of range of your colonies, not even to nab an oh-so-near-but-yet-so-far-away purple spice planet. And no wormholes, that's cheating

Additionally, if you want to make it even harder, you can say that you can't go backwards to previous colonies, you must treat your colony closest to the core as the one and only perfect colony. Perhaps you want to destroy all previous colonies.

You can do what you like with other sentient races, maybe you want to destroy them out of envy of them being nearer the core than you, but it's much easier to make allies because you won't make much money selling spice back to yourself. It's your choice in that matter really, though.

Plz Read!
Tyrantism:
You are the Supreme ruler of the galaxy. Nothing will get in your way to persuing your dream of conquering the Opposing Empires. This Requires Some role play. Try pretending that your colonies are brain-washed into working for you. make your space outfit as robotic as possible. You have conqoured every planet you see. now it's time for the Grox. DESTROY THEM. You have now completed your role of The Galaxy's meanest Tyrant.

Yes, technically this is already an archetype, but this is a more indepth, detailed version(s) of how to play it.

Scienticism:

Your empire's goal is to understand, and by extension, control the universe around them. To do this, your empire will need a pure testing environment, untarnished by adding you to the mix. You will not contact or interact with empires other than the initial SETI message, unless you are conducting a social experiment which requires active intervention. The variables in these experiments are unstable, so your empire does not recommend running those types of tests.
You will only build colonies and develop them far from alien empires and races that you consider "test subjects". However, your race has agreed that once the tests on them are complete, and all variables are solved and quantified, further interaction is permissable, and you can take various scientific commisions (adventures and missions) and research grants (Gifts, however unlikely) as well as buying technology from them, and trading much valued spice.
As you progress scientifically, technologically, and economically, you will yearn to run even bigger tests and produce even more vast amounts of data (and Spucks :mrgreen.

sub-Archetype:

Militaristic Scienticism: Guns. You and your race are the engineers and mass producers of bigger and badder weapons every Galactic Standard Cycle. Via trade routes, you import these weapons all across the galaxy. Some races will give your research grants and commisions to build guns and/or steal them from other races. Others will simply demand ownership to your war machines. What do you do to these people? You build the gun that's better than theirs, then use it to blow them to the Andromeda!

sub-Archetype:

Theistic Scienticism: You use science to solve life's greatest questions; where did we come from, and who created us? Your empire is ruled by a religious elite dictating all scientific research. Heathens defacing your statues of Spode on Centaui-IV (pirates or attackers)? You use experimental sattelite death rays to wipe them out from above. Nonbelief spreading throughout the colonies (low spice production and unhappiness)? Use also experimental genetic manipulation to program belief into them (terraforming and city organization/happy rays/loyalty boosters). Your zealous government will do anything to make sure the Spode is feared and at the front of the people's mind all the time.

sub-Archtype:

Economic Scienticism Your money and demographics analysts are the best in the galaxy. You have developed entire categorizing systems devoted to the organization of employment, income, tax rates, and interest. Your species are the taxonomers of Sporebucks. If someone needs a used spacecraft, your empire are the goto guys. Need a SETI plan? Your race provides the best radio plan in this part of the galaxy! You have entire colonies devoted to counting the physical and theoretical billions made every Standard Galactic Cycle. Is war imminent? Your people will simply buy out (bribe) the enemy. Are your colony worlds not large or spicey enough to sustain more than 3 cities? Simply buy the homeworld of another empire for a price higher than anyone else's.

@Alpha: That's kind of like the "Scientist" archetype, but with more detail and extensions.

@Screacher: You mean Tyranny.

Gah. Why, necromancers, why? Is Flame active still?!

Scorched Earth

Your people are extremely zealous when it comes to colonized planets. If the holy lands are lost to the enemy, they are sullied and must cease to exist. Any planet you have lost in a war will be destroyed with Planet Busters.

If there was a mod for this, the Superpower would be a free Planet Buster that can be used on planets you have just lost.

Worm-hole-nauts

You may place colonies, but only within ten para-secs of a wormhole. That, of course, means your home planet is mincemeat; it's suggested you find some way to oxidize it. On another note, if you come across a wormhole that has another race within five para-secs, it's gotta go.

Just a random thought.

The statement above is the mutterings of the insane. Ignore it.
