A company releases an obvious grab for cash on a floundering product, pre-black friday... Right when a
ton of other titles com out. During a class action suit?!? (meaning revenues from this released product
can be included in any court decision).

To be honest, new parts should come in free patches. I want some fairly substantial addons in an expansion.

I hope they will add spinning sections for spaceships.

Well this doesn't look good.

I figured that they would at least start with gameplay enhancements since well according to the ratings that needs a good deal of help. And fixing the gameplay would encourage new people to buy their product. Part expansion packs were a given but it just seemed logical that they would be released later into Spore's lifespan since many players are still working on mastering the current selection of parts and let's face it a pack of new parts isn't going to be bringing any new customers to the product either. It just seems like common sense but maybe sense just isn't common any more these days.

I admit this sounds bizar, I totally agree with every aspect of what you just said.
And I am very much aware of it. Strangely enough I look forward to this next cheap, mindnumbing,piece of Spore.

I used to be a lot of izm's.
Now I am none.
Spore is a very odd game to me

LOL. I am laughing my *** off. Within a couple hours of playing spore I knew that it had set a benchmark of vapidity that would be adhered to by equally vapid expansions. I said to my wife, "wait for the expansions where you can paint your creatures differently and add new kinds of eyeballs that ALSO have no effect on game play."

This polished turd really is all we get. Spore is basically legos--build weird creatures, show them to your friends, end of game.
