For the people that play the "story" mode, yes, but not for people that just create creatures. If you have nothing nice to say, SPORE off.

Maybe voice value, and other features too.

Such as the ability to make it sound like a monotone, (like a "scientist" archetype) Or multi-toned, creepy to cute, organic to robotic.



Brilliant idea. The basis program already exists...sort of. A patch could implement this.

there is allready a slider I used to adjust the voice so that it didn't sound like the guy fron wings, But It would be nice to be able to do more than to just shut it off.

On the the other hand, I realize not every one is playing on tricked-out machines with TB drives. I wonder what the memory/cycle hit on that proposition is. The patches being accumulitive.



Bottom line, though, I think that the fact that one of the first things i did after entering space stage is turn off the voices is very telling. The game needs new, more interactive voices!

I think there should be a voice slider but one that is limited by the type of mouth you have. I also think that females and males should have different voices.there should also be a language editor soth formation in tribal grammar in medevil accent in civ and ability to adopt other words from different languages. Space is finalazation of your language.

That's not a bad idea, when you make missions in Galactic Adventures you can give the chacters you talk to voices, and adjust how the voices sound by a Sound Editor. or even make a sound effect. We could also use that for multiplayer to talk to your buddies (if they are concidering to add that feature to Spore soon.) But that's still not a bad idea, Maxis and EA could make a Headset with microphone exclusively for Spore in a Expansion Pack, the Head set included for an extra $20.00 or whatever. Nice thought!

This is something that is suggested a lot, but that's probably because spore is in such need of it, although I still really like the game. I myself have suggested this before and have seen it often from others, we should really hope Maxis sees this.

great idea, i hate the fact that my mean looking creature sounds too cute , but if we could change the voice/sound of the creatures.....
