I meant you already defy the gravity by lifting something anyways.

you have a pipe go the hole way down to the ground

The Temple
The first mission I know of that used bolder traps and snake pits, and the only one for quite some time. (recently some other people used them)

you have to have a spaceship that can cross stars. so you have faster than light travel, or a wrap drive. that also means you have fake gravity most likly coundnt you use that same technolgy ?

go see Tomanomanous at --[Awsum Sigz]-- (Accepting Members) for a cool sig!!

Well, this is a limited idea, but if you could electrify somthing you could levitate it with magnetism. But it would take a strong magnet and the item would have to cunduct electricity.

No, probably sometime in the next 10 years at most I think, look at these videos, proof were beginning to understand that stuff.

1) Good luck.
2) The smallest known black holes have a mass the size of mount Everest. That, and you can't squeeze multiple atoms into the size of one atom, anyway.

No there are smaller ones called micro black holes, they collapse quickly because of their very small size but there is a lab somewhere thats been trying to recreate them by using accelerated particle collisions however even if it works they would be too small for this idea unless they found a way to make bigger ones.

Sorry for the double post, but that lab isn't trying ti make them, that's a side effect of what they may create, they're just trying to figure out how the big bang occurred, they're goal is not to create a tiny black hole at all.

I agree.
And that is now a beam? A beam is defined as a focused projection of energy. Not a big tube. Also, apparently you guys don't know how vacuum cleaners work. At that point, you may as well have a big grappling hook with a neon rope

Lets see, how could an abduction beam work....Magnetism?

The polarity of the object could be amplified so that it is attracted to a superpowerful magnet, although, that still would be pretty difficult...
