go back wards....face it....jump flap glide spit...use your pack to help ya till they die....eat....get used to area around you....jump flap glide spit eat...takes a while is tha only real hard part...getting it stuck is for weenies lol just kidding

Of course, how many of those who got the achivement can still prove they did it

(Seeing how patch 1.2 wiped most peoples achievements)

I've killed an epic in the tribe, civ and space stages, but creature? I didn't even think you could do damage to them in creature stage.

I think the easiest way to achieve this is leverage home-nest advantage. I killed one at level = hard. I lured it to my home nest, where everyone started attacking. Every time the epic tries to leave one of my nestmates would attack and the epic would return and try to fight again. I ended up just sat next to a fruit tree nearby and watch. When the epic's health went below 100 I started spitting at him from where I was. 2 spits (level 5) and he was gone.

My brother killed an epic. He had max spit, all rogue allies, had the call thing where you summon a pack of allies to aid you and the epic was attacking near his home nest so he had the aid of the rest of his species.

I lured an epic toward my home nest and killed it that way, i put Lv. 5 spit on my creature for this purpose. My pack was basically my species, cause they were purely predatorial (they killed everything lol :3).

The easiest way to kill an epic(which I will have to do AGAIN to re-earn my acheivment :evil is to max out on Rogues and get all your attacks(Spit, Strike, Charge lvl5) and just go for it, retreat when you can and eat quickly. I did this, died twice but I had lured the epic to my nest so when I finally died(Rogues too, of course) my nest-mates continued the fight and eventually the thing died, although it took two of my lives with it .

I killed one in close combat!


I lured it to my nest and when my pack attacked it it didn't do anything, so i just decided to attack it in close combat.

if you cheat, you dont get the achivement...i was a cheater

The only way to kill one is buy get him stuck in a florest or between some rocks then you just need to use your spit abilitie (lvl 5 is recommended) and you better have a good healt because you can lose up to 50 hp by starving during the fight

I killed him with level 3 spit - I lured it to my nest, the only creatures left after his initial wipe were ones that wanted to mate with me which didn't attack, just ran after me. Epic ignored all other creatures except me and was effectively blocked by them. Adding members to your pack helps, but then it automatically stops ignoring them and they die. Fast.

It took me LONG time to get that epic down.

Try creating a Sporecast with 'useless' creatures (Nothing but a mouth). Put in LOTS of them, and set the theme to this Sporecast at the beggining of your game, then follow the usual 'spit, back up, spit, back up' strategy, lure it to your nest, use sneak if you must eat, and be sure to lure it away from your nest so you get the final hit.

I lead it to my nest, and kept using level 5 spit and running around after i revived. killed it. we feeasted. my alpha got killed. our family spiraled into depression. lost all achievments for suicidal creatures. we drank stagnant water... and realized we couldnt drink

I have a question now: can an epic spit? I think even if he does have a spiting part it will not spit... It would be deadly as it would kill you in one shot... wait, that would be awsome, pure epic fear! Epic, ruuuunnnn!!!

If you're ready to advance to tribe, you can kill one without eating anything. You starve down quite a lot of health though.
