Okay, I have to get this off my chest. I'm sick of thieves (intentional or not) getting all the glory for MY creations.

FOLLOW THE LINEAGE AND DOWNRATE ALL RIP-OFFS FOR ALL CREATIONS!!!

This includes YOU, Maxis.

I'm afraid stealing is just one of those things that can not be fixedunless Maxis listens to my suggestion, which I posted months ago.

Just be thankful; it means people admire them and/or are jealous. And also, that it's only 2 creations. Great creators like DiabloDog and Xervantez had hundreds stolen, which was the main reason they quit Spore, I believe.

Actually, I've had others ripped off of. Many others.

All I know is, if I ever see a rip-off of something I made hit the MPN, there will be some breaking.

Why can't people just FOLLOW LINEAGE?!?

Trust me, I know how you feel. I made a creation a while ago nagging about the problem. Although people agreed, and recently I've seen more of these protest creations, it appears to be inneffective.

Perhaps lineage needs to be plastered up highier on the page in big red letters.

It's sad. I think comments and ratings should be disabled by default on anything with a previous author. Then the original person can decide if ratings/comments should be enabled or not.

I think you're referring to one of the stolen, featured adventures. The reason for this was because the adventure was stolen sooo many times, the linege kinda went a bit crazy, and so Maxis couldn't find the original until an upset user reported it.

Oh yeah Star Slide. That was even more spammed than C&S for a while.
