Others using your creatures

would you be happy or angry if someone used one of your creatures in an adventure/saved it under their name without regarding you?

My policy is that others can use my stuff, but they darn well better credit me, or I would be royally angry.

i don't mind if others use my creations, its quite fun when i start going through an adventure and then i see something and think "doesn't that look a bit familiar?? oh yeah...i made that a few months back" this is happened a few times.

Why would I care? It doesn't belong to me.

Many people I could name would get really annoyed if you didn't. I could name another few would couldn't a monkeys how and why you use creatures. I fall in the middle category, where most people fall. Give credit where it is due. The creation may not technically belong to them anymore, but it is their time and effort invested in it - it is polite to credit them.

It'd be awesome to see one of my creations in an adventure, but i'd be irritated for a few minutes if he didnt give credit, no point in having a huge e-fit over a video game

Someone (who I didn't know) made a whole series of adventures based around my Kurrillian species and didn’t credit me in the slightest. At first, I didn’t know how to handle it, coupled with my Shimma, my Kurrillians are practically my “main” race in Spore. To have someone else take creative license with them was kind of shocking.

After a little bit of thinking however I realised that it was a massive compliment in a way. To think that someone took the time to not only create one adventure, but a whole series based around and including something that I created… well. To me moments like that are what Spore is all about, I created something and someone else saw it, enjoyed it and continued to create and spread the creativity to more people. It was amazing, in a way I had started some kind of creative ripple (no matter how small) and it was probably almost as bigger buzz as when I got featured.

i could really care less i mean if someone has to pass my stuff off as their own in order to get noticed thats on them

They can use them in their adventures and I don't care if they give public credit to me or not, but if they edit one and claim it is theirs, then I will be ROYALLY TICKED OFF!!!

I would be very X99999999999999999999999 happy. They can just "take" it with no credit at all for my stuff. But if they edit and claim as them then i would be like this guy ------>

My pronose took off for a while and guys started editing them. I was so happy i was like "Wow. My pronose has actully become well known!"

They're not your creatures. They belong to EA. Read your TOS.

I'd be pi$$ed and send her/him a milllion annoying spam comments telling him/her to delete.

I don't give a SPORE if my creations " belong " to EA, I made em, their mine.

And EA sucks.
