Challenge Details

Organize into a team of 3 players. With your team, create an adventure that terrifies all who dare to play it! You can create a traditional Halloween adventure (i.e. graveyard, or haunted house themed) or come up with an entirely new nightmarish adventure.

Your adventure will be judged on originality, fun, quality of creations and setting, how many extra nightlights I have to install after playing it, and thumbnail png quality.

Rules & Details
Adventure, creation and Sporecasts:
• must not contain any text with any links or references to other sites in the submission's tags, name, or description
• must not contain content based on copyrighted or offensive material.

Rules:
• Your team can submit as many entries as you like. Each entry should have its own post including the required info.
• Your adventure must be published by the Adventure Designer, tagged with mchalloweenchallenge
• Your Sporecast must be created by the Collector (minimum 10 creations), tagged with mchalloweenchallenge
• Your Adventure must include at least 5 original creations by the Artist, tagged with the team name.
• All submissions must be in by 11:00am PDT Oct 27th 2009
• You may post screenshots and/or movies of the adventure and creations you've created here!

Voting
We'll post our favorite submissions here, then YOU get to vote for which one is your top pick! The winner may be featured if it meets our criteria for featured creations.

Prizes
The winning team gets a chance to be featured on Spore.com! The Adventure Designer will have the adventure featured, the Artist will have one of their creations featured, the Collector will have their Sporecast featured.

FAQ
Q: I've already created creations for another existing Halloween contest. Can I reuse those creations here?
A: Yes!

Q: I don't have GA. Can I participate?
A: Yes. Only one team member actually has to have GA to publish the adventure. Others can fill the artist or collector positions.

Q: Can I be on a team by myself?
A: No. You must find 2 teammates to join because three separate features are awarded to the winning team, and its not fair for one person to receive all three. If you prefer to work by yourself, check out some of the other current challenges for non-team competitions.

Q: Can I use a Halloween adventure I've already made?
A: As long as you meet all the requirements, you can use any creation or adventure that you've already made.

Q: Can my other team members be in the adventure or creation lineage?
A: Yes. As long as you meet the final requirements of who's name is on what, you can definitely swap creations/adventures in progress. The roles aren't meant to restrict you, but mostly to help divvy up the prize.

Q: Can I have more than one team?
A: Yes. Very ambitious given the deadline, but as long as you keep the entries separate, sure.

If I wasn't flying solo now would be a good time to release the final half of my Brother's Grimm quest.

I'll try joining.Last time I got a team and everything,but both of my team mates were never on and I wasn't able to enter,I will enter this time !!!!

I wish I knew anyone who would gladly join in a team with me.

Some suggestions on finding/coordinating with team mates:
• PM your buddies on the Spore Forum

• Send an invitation to join your team in a comment to someone on SPD who makes creations you think would be good in your adventure

• Get on an instant messenger with your team mates, and arrange meeting times where you'll organize what everyone's going to contribute before the next meeting time.

• Invite a *gasp* real-life friend over! You can hook them up with a free CC account and hang out in person and make creations together. A surprising number of people have told me they like to break out the adventure creator with their friends, and this was how the Robot Chicken team came up with their cool adventures!

• Create a thread in the Adventure Corner forum section for your team to discuss and plan in.

Also, it's OK to get started without a team. It can't hurt to advertise a little. You may want to create some cool stuff for your adventure, show it off, and entice others to join your team based on your amazing talent
