Well a few days ago before I got spore bot parts I found a few posts that would help me on this problem

I can't find them any more, so im gonna ask here.

I downloaded the Bot Parts with EADM, I have the little pink symbol next to my name on my spore homepage,
but I dont know what to do to give me the bot parts in game (It doesn't know I have it)

So.. a lil help would be schweet

Incase it matters I got it off a code of a Dr pepper bottle, not off 3rd party resources

well I found out the problem..
after EADM downloaded it i forgot to click install

now its just saying updating content database.. from previous posts it should just be a waiting game from now on.

My computer just hates everything I install, with few eceptions (SPORE most likely being one exception). Its a NEW computer! EADM just plain doesnt work. Every time I open it the same weired thing comes up. It also opened its self last time I opened SPORE GA. Should I try a un/re-install of EADM, or SPORE, or both...? Would you like me to get a screenshot of what comes up on my screen as "EA Download Manager"?

I have the same problem. Actually, I did the same thing you did, lol. The link is supposed to prompt the EADM to open and begin downloading the Bots Parts PAck into the game. I suppose it then brings you to your MySpore page and adds the Bots Parts icon to your MySpore page to indicate you successfully redeemed your code (although it doesn't indicate a successful download). As far as I know and SporemasterSlime has told me, Maxis and EA are working on a solution to this and various other technical issues with the Bots Parts Pack. If you want, you can download the Bots Parts Pack from a website called Simsprograms. It's a safe download that works. Since you have the icon, you won't have the problem of not being able to share your creations or view and download your friends' creations that have the Bots Parts in them. I hope I was of any help to you!

I don't want to download anything EA doesn't support. If I get a second code, will it let me try the download again? Or will it say that I already have that award, and not let me get it? I wish they had tested these things before they released the codes.

You should be redirected to this page automatically, if not just go there yourself. https://www.spore.com/login.jsp?redirectTo=/view/drpepper
When you click the download link, it is supposed to open up EADM so that EADM download the file (it isn't suppose to open a normal download that asks you where to save the file.) If EADM does not starting downloading, start EADM and then select the tab with your email address and click the red x to close that tab. Then click sign in and sign in to you spore account (the one you used when registering the Dr. Pepper code). The Dr. Pepper parts pack should show up on the spore account tab of the EADM.
If this doesn't happen, make sure you have updated EADM to the latest version, and turn off anti-virus programs and firewalls that could be blocking EADM.
If all fail, you can get the robot parts pack from a third-party site, which as far as we can tell is identical with the official one.

Well, Ill try to get a screenshot uploaded to a website sometime soon. Were you saying I should do any of the other things, or just the screenshot (did you mean I shoild un/re install EADM? or SPORE? or neither?)

The screenshot. Uninstalling Spore will likely not help, and you can always just get the stuff off simprograms.

uh hey slime a long time ago you helped me install the bot parts pack... from the thrid party site you said to go to... ya it installed them and everything... but now i cant use GA, and they just dont seem worth it for a $50 game... if i uninstall it should my GA work?

Did you try just logging into EADM and see if they're there?

I'm not sure why you can't run GA so I can't help you with that, maybe if you included more details? There's a way to uninstall the bot parts it's in the end of the opening post.
