"Spore Two"

I have seen a lot of threads talking about a Spore 2, but my question is : Wonn't we have version 2.0 when patch 10 comes out?

no i believe they just make it 1.10

actually, there isnt going to be a patch 10, or even a patch 6. spore has reached the point that it is so patched that if you fix something, another breaks. kinda like sewing a ragdoll. they will release more expansion packs (likely 2 more and various part packs) before releasing the sequel, if they do. they probably wont because "Spore 2" is a horrible name for a product

And isn't the current patch called 01.051? or something more technical? So then Patch 10 would be 01.10 then.

Spore: Second Edition.

...captainoomp its not that spore is so patched that if you fix something it breaks something else, its just that the patches have been being a bit rushed so not very well done.

a second spore would be cool. they should put the water stage in. or a water stage expansion pack.

i would rather have expansions than a second spore because if theres a spore 2 then i will have wasted all this money on spore 1....

One thing iv'e learned, is that weather the name sucks or not, if you put roman numerals, it's awesome. Don't ask how i have learned that cuz its nunya ****ing buisness.

Patch 10 would be 1.10. Maybe Macs would have to wait two times the amount.

. Spore 2 would be more like Spore: Unf***ed

That would be nice but I think it should have a better name
