I think that EA recently fixed it so that the reusable codes only give prizes for Mass Effect. I was lucky to redeem the reusable code before they fixed it.

FearTheGrox, you can get the latest patch which is 5.1 by either starting your game and having EADM running in the background or by running the installer which you can download here

Glad you got your problem resolved, FeartheGrox. As for me, Ea resolved my issue with not being able to activate my Spore disc with the EADM and they activated it for me, but alas, SporemasterSlime was right-- it didn't help prompt the EADM to begin installing the Spore Bots Parts PAck. I guess I'll have to wait, then.

I had some doubts about contacting customer support. I was actually surprised that I got through on the second try and not on the 100th. I guess I was lucky cause it was late at night (in the US) when I contacted them. But don't think that it's resolved yet. I still have to carry out the instructions. Then I'll tell you if it's resolved or not.

EDIT: Once I reinstall, will the robot parts still be listed as an option in EADM under my account?

Oh, one last thing, do I have to remove the EADM also? Or can that stay? Because if it can, it would save me some time from downloading the latest version and the bot parts.

Ok, well i just went and bought a dr. pepper, which i dont like to drink, and i put the code in, when i was redirected to the spore site it told me to put my code in the dr. pepper site, which i had already done, so i went back to the dr. pepper web site and was once again redirected to the spore site, this time giving me the error 500 internal server error. i then come here and look at the suggestions, i have reset my cookies, and cache, tried relogging in 300 times, and i noticed that i have the picture of the bots parts pack on my profile, so it knows i have it, i was just never prompted to download it. so i am completely stumped on what to do. some one help

Theoretically, since your spore profile knows you have registered the bot parts, downloading the parts from simprograms.com should work. You should be able to upload with the parts since you have the icon on your spore page. This means that the lock code (don't ask what that is) is gone from your game and you'll be able to upload creations using those parts.

But wait for a solution first and save this suggestion as a last resort.

ok, i bought a second bottle just in case something like this happened, im trying that right now and we'll see what happens.

oh it didnt work. urgh. that was a waste, and i was going to use my second one on battlefield bad company 2.

i think i might have found the problem, im using a mac, and i dont know if i the EADM. i looked everywhere for a download for the mac version but everytime i get the pc one. im very confused.

There is no Mac version. Somehow or other, another user named Inferno7 managed to get the Bots Parts onto their Mac and brags about it regularly. They might be able to help you get it on yours, too. Maybe you even can find something in the Mac threads, but if not, then try contacting Inferno7. Good luck!

ya i just had to basically mod my game, but it works fine now. the parts are very cool, im just disappointed that the new heads dont have metallic roars. i totally wasted one of my dr. peppers though, i could have given it to a european so that they could play...

That would be cool if they had metallic roars. Glad you resolved your problem, though! Lol, mine is that the download link just redirects me to my MySpore page and doesn't open up the EADM to begin downloading the Spore Bots Parts Pack. Nothing seems to be getting it to begin downloading.

Well... can someone that's nice or has some extra Dr.Peppers give me a code? I live in Australia and Dr Pepper doesnt even exist here...
