Well i cant stand Creature stage anymore. I prefer to just watch my creatures now. Cell. Tribal. and Civ are probably my favorites, space is boring and not enough interaction with other creatures, as far as i can tell there is only the monolith.
I like space stage but its just too much like work. and i can't get out of the ship, where's the EJECT button... A.K.A. Do not push this button.

lol you know what i jsut realised everyone is complaining that the space stage is terrible and its nothing like they said it would be but it appears to also be the favorite...

I think people either like space or hate it, not necessarily always in those two extremes. I don't really hate space, I just rather replay the other stages (nine so far!) after I make 50m and could take over the galaxy if I was guaranteed I would not lose my sanity and was paid well by the hour and would play starcontrol 2 or some other form of space game afterwards and stick my creature's face on the computer screen since that is all your creature itself really does in space.

lol... So true. For the other stages the prototypes are way cooler. But we'd need to stick our creatures picture there too...

No, seriously.

I enjoy space and tribal, but my vote went to cell. I really like how the actual physical layout of your cell affects it's survivability. Really makes the thought and planning you put into your creature matter.

Civ. I love blowing up and buying out everyone on the planet.

That is true... Cell has that. It was ment to be a "tutorial" of what layed ahead, but in turns it becomes more and more simplified as you advance, and decissions matter less to the point we've all been playing the same space-game, starting on different locations.

Putting a spike on my herbivore cell, and watching a predator try to bite me when I was scaping just to see itself impaled, was the best of the game.

This is why this is a game about decission making. The wrong decissions taken on game design, actually.

Used to be space.
Now I spend WAY more time in the creators. And in the creature stage I can see my critters in action. Plus, I find it somewhat relaxing.

And sometimes I find myself playing a cell stage for no real reason.
