I tried to play Spore again, as I was one of the casualties of the recent patch-bug crashies. I've troubleshooted it long enough till I just set all settings to Default and today, well its been running fine. Occasionally I'll have the invisible creature during a bio-disaster, hangs ups and lag but the latter of the two I figure might just be my own PC. Anyway I'm happier now that its working again, not sure if Maxis snuck in a hot-fix or somthing - but thanks, if it was you!

Also just to check have you tried lowering your cache in game settings? You should try and see the results tell me if it works . Also glad to see you can play unlike the many others who can't

Yeah I havn't tried that yet. Heard its set to 2g and should be at 512mb? I've got an old ATI Radeon X800Pro. Ancient, I know, but it still runs today's games fine - for the most part.

i got mine to work again too, but i always had invisible stuff around in my game, i just said, wth w/e and just droped a mega bomb in that area, i didnt care i hated that empire anyway

Well what if there were an eco-disaster on your own planet, or an Allies? I havn't used any "Omg" Bombs yet, but I've heard if you use it on a planet near an Allied planet they suddenly hate you, or considerably lowers your reputation.

i have, and destroyed them as well, its either do you want cake, do we have cake, are you selling cake thing i hate or unbelievers shall be taxed i hate

Never had an OMG bomb so im not so sure.

Im glad to hear that your game too,chaosbote, is working. Please see if lowering the cache helps it helped me greatly.
