IC: The Om1326 decide to wait a little longer before informing their allies of the merging of the Om-006, as tensions are still too high. In the meantime the Om1326 work to relax those relations, in the hopes that the next generation will be more trusting of the Om1326, and not pry too far into their affairs. The Om132 normally won't care too much about this, but the Om 1326 would prefer they inform their allies, even if the bulk of them must be mind controlled to do so. At the moment some individuals have started to notice some of this, that the Om seem a little different in personality. But most welcome the change, anddon't ponder too much.

The Pichaw are pleased by their advancements, though they are having trouble keeping up. The Pichaw can only generate so much electricity, they can not handle the requirements to move a Bakisleen without major strain. To this end the Pichaw need a new power source. As the Pichaw attempt to find such a source, it's dawns on them that plants seem to draw life from the sun. Perhaps the Pichaw coud find a way to use to generate energy.

IC: The Jeskaw are intrigued by this improved lighting, although they don't enjoy the lights to the extent of the Pichaw. They think that this could be because the Pichaw have more or less electric powers while the Jeskaw do not. Nevertheless, the Jeskaw are impressed. As this discussion goes on, the Jeskaw get to work digging the tunnel and locating large enough magnetic rocks to carry passengers. To make sure it dosen't collapse, as the Jeskaw have noticed with some of their burrows back at Sarguhal Lake, solid Salt Awchpi trunks are being cut to be used as beams to hold up the tunnel, should it collapse at any time.

IC: The Om1326 notice tat the Grench seen to enjoy insignificant talk, an ability the Om-006 brought to them. Unimportant conversations that just ask how individuals are doing, mentioning the atmospheric conditions occurring at a given time, this kind of things seem to entertain the weak Individual Minds. The Om1326 knew that the Om-006 used this tactic to influence their Grench and Watu before they "Put them down to sleep," but they had Bon idea it was so effective. As loathing as doing so is, it has improved Grench/ Om relations, and important individuals are asking a lot ess questions.

The Pichaw acknowledge as they start their new project that they know nothing about how plants get their food, only that many of them shrivel or die when cut off from sunlight, though few can thrive with other light sources. So right now the Pichaw need to study plants, before they can move on to powering technology. But it is hard to make out the small details of plants. The Pichaw recall that sometimes glass creates an enlarging effect, so they resolve to develop a glass tool retools to let them see better.

Elsewhere in Great-Mind, a fluorescent light has started to leak mercury.

IC: The Jeskaw have noticed that the current shape of the beams may not fully support the tunnel, and have decided to leave a space between the beam and the wall, forming a Salt Awchpi diagonal beam. As the tunnel expands, large slabs of magnetic stone are being selected for the floor, walls and ceiling, but a passenger stone is yet to be found.

IC: The Om1326 have almost finished laying their traps, as hopefully the end of the game is dawning. The Om-1326 are just about ready to inform the alliance, though once again they wonder why they should. A quick answer is that the Om-006 made positive impression on many individuals, so admitting the merge might have no cost, and could even be beneficial. Obviously the Om-003 merge is not to spoken of for the same reasons, and without that the Om-002 merge cannot be rationalized. So at least the Om 1326 will get to keep some secrets.

The Pichaw of Great-Mind are panicking, because one of thir number has just collapsed, dead. The horror of a dead body washes over them, and this time there was no warning! Pretty soon other Pichaw starting dying, scaring the population even more. Quickly the Pichaw begin investigating every centimeter of their tunnels, it hopefully find the source. If Great-Mind must fall, at least the other communes must know the cause. The urge to flee is strong, but if the Pichaw here are contaminated, they can't risk it spread. Despite the horror.

The Pichaw of Water-Edge continue to experiment with glass, and have just about made a glass lens that enlarges images. The Pichaw have begun to build a frame for this device, so that it can bemused to understand plants better.

OOC: I've added a lot of detail in today's post, not only meaning it's huge, but I think it's one of my personnal best posts of my experience here.
IC: As the tunnel grows, it will be nessecary to find some clay to attach the magnetic walls, floors and ceilings with clay. But the Sarguhal Lake is too far away for it to still be able to get molded to the wanted shaping. How will the Jeskaw here find clay to keep the magnetic sides in place? Coincidentally, the other Jeskaw searching for new clay sources have arrived here, but on the other side of the volcanic island, that close to Chagonius. The search is on the other side, the one facing the northern reaches of Jalupi, where other islands lie, lifeless with the exception of vast forests of Salt Awchpis with Hachlippis parasitically living on them as Graalaws nest in the island canopies, plunging into the sun-warmed coastal waters daily to feed themselves and their chicks. IC: The Om1326 finally announce to the entire nation of the alliance that the Om-001 had merged with the Om-006. The Om 1326 explain further that doing so creates a fusion of their personalities, so in a way it is as if the Om-001 are dead. The Om1326 have their "influencing" "passive" technologyblaing as they say this, ensuring that all of the alliance stays calm. At the same time this "not mind control" technology also convinces the individuals of the alliance motto think about the Om-003, a signal that will broadcast through the generations.

The Pichaw of Great-Mind have found te sourcefth deaths, there's a major leak in multiple lights. Apparently te delicious light can be dangerous. The Pichaw still want the link, but resolve to ale the lights harder to break, and to use lessor the fluid. Hopefully that should love the issue.

Elsewhere in Water-Edge, the Pichaw have finished work on their telescope-microscope hybrid. The aquatic life forms have already begun to examine the many forms of life on their world, plants and beasts alike. IC: The Jeskaw aboard the ships have spotted a cave near the beach, but it's floor is flooded up to a Pichaw's head. Surprisingly, some clay has been spotted by a Jeskaw while exploring the flooded beach and cave. Apparently, there indeed is clay, but it's not like that of Sarguhal Lake. Perhaps the island colonists will locate this source, but speed will be required to bring it over to the colonies. Perhaps the colonists will think up a way to keep the clay fresh.

IC: The Om1326 notice tat most of the alliance on their own accepts the merge, as they prefer the way that the Om1326 seems to care about others. And in truth the Om1326 does care a little more than the Om132, but fortunately not too much. After all the Om-006 cared a great deal for the Grench-006 ad the Watu-006, and neither race is really present any more. Oh they exist, but they are isolated, and protected against anything. Luckily Pijidraw-006 can be rendered unacceptable, or the alliance might find it. Of course if they found it dds are they won't be able to tell anyone, but still, better safe than sorry.

As the Pichaw strengthen and improve their lights, work continues to study plants and animals with the new investigation tool. The Pichaw realize that the tool's range is limited, so work begins to try to fid some way to build a more powerful version. However as things are now, the Pichaw observe as best they can. And for how they have figured that the grass-leaves of Awchpi are what collect sunlight. So perhaps a device based on that could be used.

OOC: I kinda didn't have much time to write this post, but it's okay, since I didn't have much to write for this post.
IC: The Jeskaw colonists have at last found the flooded cavern with clay. They test for the metallic property by drying a small piece. A few hours pass, and the resulting dry clay seems to be like a brittle rock. It's not like the clay of Sarguhal Lake! Still, it probably can attach magnetic stones to cavern walls, so it'll be good enough. But how to carry it while not letting it dry too much?

IC: The Om1326 notice a slight error in their communications, which they quickly fix. Now that that problem is taken care of the Om 1326 can focus on other issues. Now the Om1326 have decided to limit the Om-006 tech to making sure no one questions the personality shift after the 001/003 War, and just be glad that the Om-006 are Influencing the hive in a "positive" way. But beyond that the Om1326 realize it is not safe, as thought the hybrids are few in number, the Om-006 memories reveal that a small group almost manged to collapse Pijidraw-006. To maintain the illusion the Om1326 need to be cautious.

The Pichaw begin to make leaf-like device for one of their Bakisleen, made in part from their world's sand. If all goes well the leave will absorb the sun's power, and fashion it into fuel for the Bakisleen's wheels and it's lights. It is a simple design, based in part on the fact that glass can create a beam of heat when blocking sunlight. If glass can use light to make that power, perhaps it could be modified to use the energy for power.

IC: The Om1326 wait for the ships sent to the old realms to report back, though in the meantime they can prepare if war comes. The crew of that fleet continues through Pijidraw and Pijidraw, refueling then leaving rapidly. The Om1326 among them make note of these realitys, particularly those which hint at a large presence of their Om. For future merging of course. Slowly but surely the crew approach why the Om 1326 nicknamed the hypothetically drop zone, where the Pijidraw end and it is only empty void. Past there is where the old realms might be, if luck is on their side.

The Pichaw refine and modify the leaf, testing it again and again. Finally it works, and the batteries become charged. Now the Pichaw can utilize their fluorescent lights without draining themselves, though the batteries can't full the lights constantly at night. And not only that, but it shood be able to aid in powering the paddle wheels as well. The Pichaw fleet will now be all but comp,steely independent, able to travel for ages without docking.

IC: The Om1326 wait, even as the fleet sent to reach the old realms stumbles upon the formerly hypothetical drop zone. This will be the hardest part of the mission, as they have no way to know which direction is the old realms. OOC: Sorry for the recent post shortage, I was busy with something secret... For now.
IC: The Jeskaw are thrilled of the proposal. They suggest that with every new land discovered, the Jeskaw will settle there to keep on charting and exploring among other things. As soon as the Boat Awchpi breeding project will be complete, which will be during Page 255, the Jeskaw will be ready to go. They still keep the surprise for the Pichaw that the Jesk Piluaw will also be on board on an Awplipi-like growth to keep some Laaluaws that are being trained, one per ship to be exact, to scout for land or danger or anything else of interest. Speakingh of which, unknowingly to the Jeskaw, the Jesk Piluaw have managed to finish training for one generation of Laaluaw. They hope the next generation will learn what the Jesk Piluaw thaught them through their parents.

Meanwhile, the Jeskaw looking for Sarguhal Lake clay reserves has reasoned that they probably won't find any more clay like that of Sarguhal Lake. So, they start thinking what may make the Sarguhal Lake clay get it's property. In about an hour, the Jeskaw have decided that perhaps a certain species unique to the lake is the cause. They go back to the clay reserve on the volcanic island, then prepare a special bowl-shaped formation of stones, with each small nook and cranny sealed with pebbles. These Jeskaws then put water up to the rim, then insert clay. They notice that when the clay is put in the bowl, some water came out. Perhaps it's because the clay made the water rise. Perhaps that's due to a lack of room for the excess water. While attempting to start an experiment to see what makes Sarguhal Lake's clay metallic after drying, the Jeskaw have accidentally discovered how water rises without adding more.

Nearby, the Jeskaw trying to carry clay to the magnetic tunnel have realised that perhaps they should use something hollow. Then, they notice their mouths and how they have room inside, then think about other creatures, They figure out that maybe if they hollow out an animal, they'll have a container for some water and the clay. These Jeskaw then find a Narahluaw nearby, grazing upon the grass. They charge at it, using jagged rocks to make the Narahluaw get hurt so the Jeskaw can use it! In the end, the intelligent fish triumph, and plan to feed on the meat inside, then insert the water and clay inside. In the meanwhile, a lone Jeskaw was sent to bring the clay back where it was found, but dosen't spot the other Jeskaw. then, he returns to the group as they feast on their kill, then go to sleep. Tomorrow, they will bring the clay in their Narahluaw skin, not realising this will soon start the bag concept.

IC: The Om1326 have no clue how their mission is going, so they spend their time stockpiling weapons and armies. The Om1326 quickly breed as much as they can, only to seal the extra population in mass vaults. That way when the time comes, the Om1326 will have an army seemingly from nowhere. And with the Om1326 able to pull on te resources of three Pijidraw, the hidden army will have plenty of weapons and ships for thir use. The Pichaw can wait for war to come to them now, their defenses shoud be ready. The Om1326 might make a few modifications, but overall thy are ready to go.

The Pichaw think that said time is a long way away, at least in the current speed of their lives. Still they understand, and at the least can give them plenty of time to prepare. Work can begin on a new Bakisleen for instance, to be used for this very mission. Already recruits are signing up for the voyage, though some recruits will be required to come from Water-Edge. They will need Pichaw with long term experience in open water, though aside from those crew members other recruits need no experience.

As wok begins on this mission, the Pichaw also continue to study plants. From what they can see there are features in a cell, perhaps that function like organs in an organism. The Pichaw can not make out much detail with their cells current tech, but they are trying to improve its quality. In the meantime the Pichaw will just try to get te best picture they can.

The Pichaw continue to refine their splat panels, and have figured out how to use glass to focus more power onto a aller panel. This hold increase energy greatly, as for one it will leave room for three leaves to power the ship rather than one. The Pichaw will still need to worry about powering lights and paddle wheels during the night, but aside from thatthey should be good.
