I think they came with one of the patches (either 2 or 3 I think), if you don't have all of them try downloading them it should ask if you want to when you start up Spore.

GA comes with patch 4, which includes the exo parts (and everything else from Patch 3 I believe).

Patch 4 includes everything the other patches do, including exo limbs. If you didn't get them when installed GA (which also installs patch 4) then you'd reinstall I guess.

I would recommend installing the latest patch. Try downloading it from here.

Probably because he has the same problem and that's what the forum guidelines SAY TO DO.

I've had that same problem where even though my game patched, the exo limbs were not included. I don't think all versions of the patch include them.

I just had one of the other members send me a copy of the file they are in, and then I had to re-apply the bot parts over the top. I was sure that the file sent to me by the other person was fully patched.

There are other people who've had to go to the extreme of completely removing spore (including deauthing, uninstalling, removing remaining files and directories, deleting registry keys and THEN reinstalling, to get the exo limbs to be included).

I had to do that on the current machine and then reapply all of my save files afterward.

If they do it correctly.

I never have that problem. (I am telling you the truth)

Plus I went to wal-mart today and in the electronic department still had 2 copies of spore still on the shelf.

Okay I won't then Ash!

Spore is up to originally up to 4 discs.
1.C&C: Spore creature creator starter kit (disc)
2.Spore (disc)
3.Spore Creepy & Cute expansion (disc)
4.Spore galactic adventure expansion (disc)
Note: I know what all made it to an actual retail disc. (Yes I do keep track of what comes out)
what not made it to disc?
-extended limb
-Spore botz expansion
-Darkspore parts expansion

If you can't respect me. I can not respect you. (Agreed)

You FREQUENTLY say "I don't have that problem" in response to posts and add no substantive help.

To people WHO DO have the problem, all that amounts to is gloating and implying they are stupid or doing something wrong and that's why they have the problem.

Spore's patches are served off different servers. People have incomplete patches all the time. Sometimes their connection gets interrupted and resumes incorrectly. Other times the threading issues -- which are hard to control on installs -- give incorrect information since the program does not apply updates sequentially -- it threads them and does things concurrently where possible.

This means that lack of a response, or a response on a different logical CPU than the initiating one, can cause the patch to install incompletely.

It has nothing to do with skill or being "good" with computers or because god likes you better.

It has everything to do with the threading model in Spore.

Don't answer a problem thread just to say YOU DON'T HAVE the problem.
