This is really SPOREing me off.

I have an interior setting with enough space to wander about but NPCs are too stupid to realize they are walking into walls and objects. I tried giving them a patrol path, I did all kinds of combinations on advanced behavior and I even moved them to different locations but they still won't comply, which makes this adventure pointless, really.

I'm gonna have to put this adventure on hold until the AI gets some IQ and the clipping is fixed. I might start a new one if I have the energy.

I really don't think they put any effort into making walls work for GA, they just left them broken from when they were just for Civ phase. This is evidenced by the fact that half your creature clips through surfaces he walks on, its something thats disappointed me highly about GA as well...

I was a little disgusted when I found out that A) The building editors aren't combined which would be an easy task to do. B) you still don't have rotation on the base building peices despite the fact that we are SUPPOSED to be using them for their unintended purpose to make props and C) Even if you do use the buildings.... AI doesn't work in them, you cannot place vehicles near buildings etc...

Its just really really sloppy and disappointing. They seriously need to do an overhaul and actually make the game work like its intended... I guess we will have to wait until another expansion comes out for there to be a patch though, not that they will fix the real issues anyway...

Use a disguised blue gate instead of an actual building. It worked for me.
