Absolutly agree. Software has been givin a free ride for a long time now. Because its such a new and important technology the business community has givin software advantages as a consumer product that other products could only dream of. Well, the tech has been around a while now, and its time for this crap to stop. Once I as a consumer buy a product i have Bought it. That unit of a product belongs to ME now, not you. I can do ANYTHING I want with it, within the standards that were created a long time ago regulating consumer products. Stop trying to continue to own something that you no longer do, and stop trying to find ways for me to pay for the same product that I already have. If you do not stop, I will stop purchasing your products alltogether.
