Packs and expantions are merely ways to make money. Just like how they overpriced those fancy Spore creature paperweights. atleast I didn't have to waste money on the exoskeleton limbs, they came with a patch.

Part packs for Spore is very welcome, that gives more creativity and the additional gameplay and even new parts are featured in the EP's.

It's a rumour, that's for sure. Or just a lie, not sure really. Cute & Creepy is already out, logic tells you that EA won't create another one and just switch one word...

I love how the first few pages of this thread dismiss the parts pack as "rumors". Now we know it as an unfortunate reality. Oh well, it means more possibilities for those of us with cash (not me)! XP

Actually, they're not overpriced; it's just expensive technology, making a detailed sculpture printer & painter from a digital model. Especially a model with overlapping polygons.

Or maybe he just felt the need to be able to play all of the new content players made using CC:C&C... I for one refuse - this is the kind of stuff we should get for free. Expansion Packs should be reserved for improvements to game play even for $10. Shameful play for more money on EA's part.

True, but we live in the real world where EA is a business looking out for themselves and their investors. They might not be the most ethical company around, but they do know how to make a buck.

I mean, we already got those exoskeleton limbs in the latest patch... which is completely out of character for EA. That's about all you're gonna get.

And not even that would have come out of that contempt with their unfair practice. As drm deactivation... and so many other stuff. They need to know what is wrong. And what's very wrong you better say very loudly.
