It's obviously relevant. I'm surprised to see that you still play the game. Most of the people who were active here on the forums back in August seems to have moved on..

You mean moved on to better games?
Well I still like foruming.
But I have been playing GoW 2 and some other things lately, whenever I touch Spore, its just too boring.

One day, when all the features showed at E3 has been implemented, Spore will be a game to stick with.

Well I have found that it is fun to window it, and play it while watching a movie on my computer.

before i forget it for another day, thank you for the guide. my most successful save game is allied with the grox & now controls 1/2 of 2 galaxy arms (count that as 1 arm). just trying to win back a friendship or at least a neutral status to all other races, whilst exterminating any level 1 or 2 Spodes pricks

good job angel. there is a way to keep other allies, but it takes about 6 days to get them from angry to orange. i think. plus, you should have bout, oh i dont know, 70 mil to stop the war.

other hidden badge is to defeat the grox. probably the hardest badge in the game.
(42 is easier when you ally with the grox. i had 4 allies from spodes empire-yes, their is one, they are omnipotent-
and still could not make it.)

im -5 in the alliance with grox. have all-powerful, finished all the missions for them, and have given them 27mil.
any tips before i rip my hair out?
i am thinking of getting a happy ray.

It also helps if you are a zealot. You attack an alien empire close to grox, and you break galactic code, which also is good!

Great tutorial, but I don't appreciate the "noob" comments. I didn't know how to do those things for awhile, most people don't until they learn. I'd say newb, there is a difference.

TheAngelofDeath if you are allied with the grox do they ever lose interest in the alliance and if so, what can be done to make them interested again?

Well, I'm currently sitting on my colony right next to Grox territory. I'm +70 with them, and I'm planning to ally.
But before I do, should I:

A) Wipe out all the empires that are near my colonies so I don't get destroyed?
B) Get my Diplomat badge to 5 since it will be nigh impossible after?
