So I was playing my game earlier and I came across this on a planet ... it looks like something is exploding.

I was on an allied planet ... it just looked really weird and my hunny and I couldn't figure out what it was.

I think it's the empire's ship. It's happened to me a couple times the ship just goes down and drive itself in to the ground. You can do it with your own ship to if you go around the and just keep scrolling down you'll hit a mountain and it will do that until you go above the mountain.

its what happens when vehicles get stuck...they kick up dirt

Seen it before. Just leave the planet and it should stop.

First time I saw what looked like an exploding vehicle was when I had to do an "eradicate the citizens" mission. I actually thought they had taken it over and were trying to destroy it...

Haha, I thought that it looked funny and rather odd.

It did go away when I left the planet.

when a vehicle ingame is on a set path and collides with something and can't get out of the obstacle without changing its course, it does that animation.

Lol, that just reminded me of the one car commercial where the terrorist pulls up to a building, presses the button and blows up inside the car, but the car stays perfectly intact.

I lol'd hard at that.
