listen....... this third party download WILL work like a real spore patch. the reason it wont share sometimes is because u hav to hav the bot icon on ur page then the third party download is not a third party download to YOU any more its like a shortcut, like it would be like if maxis put a button if the pop up didnt pop up

Hi, my bot parts work fine and all but the easiest way to sum my problem up is that the game crashes the very second I use one of the social buttons when I have any of the bot parts on my creature in the main game. It does this continuously. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

You can't socialise with robot parts, updated first post.

If you had read the post before yours, you would see that I already thanked DVDMaster for clearing up my only reservation - meaning I went ahead and did it, now that I know that it is exactly the same thing and will not cause any issues with future patches. I'm enjoying making a robo-scorpion as we speak

If you had read the post before yours, you would see that I already thanked DVDMaster for clearing up my only reservation - meaning I went ahead and did it, now that I know that it is exactly the same thing and will not cause any issues with future patches. Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying. Worked perfectly, thank you. As far as anyone can tell it's the exact same file we should have been able to download through the Spore site.

So, in response to me, were you answering my question about the Spore 2 beta download? Also, in the second response, you're saying the socialization buttons aren't an option with the bot parts pack? Is this an error in the game or intentional? I suppose it were intentional, the option to socialize wouldn't even appear. If it is an error, do you think Maxis will fix it soon (after they fix the download, of course)? I hope so.

for whatever reason my bots parts wont download, every time i click on the link to download them it brings me to my spore page and nothing happens, it shows the Robot parts icon but i dont have the parts. You should be redirected to this page automatically, if not just go there yourself. https://www.spore.com/login.jsp?redirectTo=/view/drpepper
When you click the download link, it is supposed to open up EADM so that EADM download the file (it isn't suppose to open a normal download that asks you where to save the file.) If EADM does not starting downloading, start EADM and then select the tab with your email address and click the red x to close that tab. Then click sign in and sign in to you spore account (the one you used when registering the Dr. Pepper code). The Dr. Pepper parts pack should show up on the spore account tab of the EADM.
If this doesn't happen, make sure you have updated EADM to the latest version, and turn off anti-virus programs and firewalls that could be blocking EADM.
If all fail, you can get the robot parts pack from a third-party site, which as far as we can tell is identical with the official one.

We are currently investigating an issue with Dr Pepper mech parts entitlements not being granted properly. Please bear with us as we straighten this out.

This whole issue is pretty stupid. I'm still waiting for the Download Manager to do its job. I find it ironic that a program that is supposed to make things easier on me is the sole reason this stuff doesn't work.

Can everyone having problems try again now?

I went to play Spore Creature Creator and I can't find the bot parts. Before I played the game it said somehting like the EA Download manager wasn't able to download some program. Any tips?

I'm not sure that the robo parts work with Spore Creature Creator. The EADM download includes "patch 6" in addition to the robo parts. As far as I can tell "patch 6" is just a new copy of patch 1.51 which gave you asymmetry. Since patch 1.51 didn't work with spore creature creator, I'm not sure patch 6 will work either.

But I could be wrong.
