It depends on what you mean by survive...
Alien invasion, robot or ape uprising, if you are enslaved you still survive.

With zombies if it is a global pandemic that causes it chances are no one would actually survive it, as everyone would eventually get infected. In most portrayals of zombies even dead bodies aren't immune...

Meteors as said would decimate the planet leaving survival near non existent. Though its already happened what twice now that we know of?

Nukes..if you aren't in the immediate blast zones would be probably the most survivable.

I will survive the ape uprising because I was not abusing them in their cages. Everyone knows apes that are abused remember.

Zombie Uprising.

I'd just sit back and let the Military contain the outbreak before it kicks off.

If aliens invade us, most may say were screwed. However, maybe the aliens are just advanced in space travel and only think they are advanced in weapons systems and such? We could blast them right out of the sky. Zombies would kill us though, they always do in the movies. Astroids would tear us to pieces, and through every piece into a fire.

Aliens are not going to have faster than light spacecraft without powerful weapons. There would be many conflicts before they got to Type II-III.

Alright, perhaps I need some clarification. The option for 'nuclear fallout'. Does that mean a global nuclear war, or a massive nuclear explosion with tons of fallout? The former we wouldn't survive, the latter we might.

For the record, lets say it is world-wide, with a bunch of fallout.

Wow, nice post turnout.

The Biebocalypse cannot be survived.

The rest are kind of conditional.

Fallout is survivable if you live outside of the blast zones. I live near a major city so I'd probably be close to the epicenter and survival chances are slim. Those in rural areas would be fine, the most potent isotopes are short lived and would dissipate in a few days.

Meteors/asteroids vary in size from 40 meter wide crater diggers to 1500 mile wide planet breakers. The small ones would do minor damage to their immediate area and little more, the biggest would totally destroy the biosphere and kill everything. You wouldn't even notice a small one unless it hit you directly, an "extinction event" sized asteroid would be noticeable but not immediately lethal outside of the blast radius. The most massive of asteroids would liquify vast swathes of the surface of the Earth and totally disrupt the biosphere, killing everything.

An alien invasion depends on their goals, since I'd probably choose to die fighting rather than be enslaved my personal chances for survival are slim. A coward may live longer.

Zombies that spread via bite aren't a long lived "apocalypse" and would be quashed quickly. An airborne spread would be much less survivable and I'd probably end up a zombie.

Apes are the same as aliens, but probably far more unlikely. Their relative lack of technology also makes resistance more viable.

Robots are the same as apes, they're less advanced than aliens and so more likely to lose. They also have certain weaknesses that I've discussed in other robot/computer uprising threads related to logic and pathfinding that human soldiers could exploit.

Global pandemic depends on personal resistances and location. My location near a population center decreases my chances of not contracting the illness but increases the chances of medical treatment if it is available.

Ever read a book called World War Z? It's a fantastic "oral history of the zombie invasion". It basically portrays a post-zombie world through accounts recorded by a journalist, giving many takes on the story and the spreading of the virus. But anyway according to the book, surviving a zombie apocalypse, as long as the plague wasn't airborne, is possible.

How do we know that some of these don't come together; For example, Aliens that launch a meteor at the Earth that spreads radiation like a massive nuclear explosion, creating a highly contagious epidemic that turns people into zombies.

Survivability; 0%

If we consider becoming a zombie surviving then it's probably survivable.

I think that the area around where I live is fairly well prepared for anything, the only thing I think could pose a real threat to the area where I live is probably a pandemic of some kind. The families go to work in the cities many miles away, and bring what they contracted home. Pandemic can sneak up on us easy and overnight, how evil.

But where is global famine on that list? Thats another big one that can pretty much kill everyone off.

and at the end of the story, apes become geniuses, develop an immunity to the virus, and rule the world

unlikely, most modern countries would be unaffected by a global famine. Besides the only real way that could happen is if all the soil in the world stopped growing plants.

And that reminds me, ever hear of the so-called "Doomsday vault" in Norway? Its a vault built into the side of mountain that contains seeds for thousands of plants in case of some sort of global disaster.
