That'll suffice.
Thanks for filling in everything!

Now you can start. I'll add you to the map right now.
You'll be close to PCookie and the Eyzmao, just so you know, so you'll probably have company sooner or later.

No, nothing particular. Of course, describe the daily life, and, for example, hunting expeditions or things like that. You can gather wood to make a village, if it isn't already the case, for example.

Concerning the season, you're right, we have to decide about that. I guess you can say whatever you want, it won't hurt anyone. At least it'll set the moment of the year, and since that is very important for everyone, we better start somewhere!

I updated the map by the way. You can check to see your location is fine for you.

The locations perfect but is there a way to make note of the cave systems which is mainly where they live..also I'm thinking its just begining spring...and how about the seasons overall how long will they last and how many days a season and how many days a year...trying not to overwhelm you with questions

Maybe he is contemplating a demand for admission!

Anyways, arnie(you don't mind me calling you that, I hope?), concerning all those questions, it'd be better if we all decided together, with the other members. Because deciding of such an important matter without the others, especially on things which would impact wthem would be unfair. So please wait until they're online!

I'm hesitating between a post-based season count and a page based one. I think the posts would be better, although if one person doesn't post for some time, he'll lag behind the others, which would be problematic.
Otherwise we can do a time based season count. It's simple, but it might annoy some people. A post based one accounts better for the activity of the Rp. So maybe one season will pass every 4-5 posts.

Concerning the caves, there is no real way of showing them. After all caves are underground, and thus cannot be seen from above! Sorry!

It's true, but people get very annoyed when things drag on too much. One post per season is too short, and one page is perhaps too long. If it were entirely up to me, I would lean for one page, but we'll wait for the others before deciding.

Concerning the cave system, okay.

Unstable-isotope, please decide yourself!

And here's my race's sheet:

Name of Race: Ijjin-sa(plural: Ijjin-sat)
Color of the Race(for the map): ochre
Description/picture:
The exoskeleton of the Ijjin-sa comes, in general, in variants of brown.
Biology: The Ijjin-sat are an insectoid race, unrelated to terran arthropodes, but bearing several similarities. First of all, the separation of their body. They have a head, a thorax and an abdomen. Secondly, they have an exoskeleton. This exoskeleton sheds every year, although after the insect reaches its adult size, it will only grow by minuscule amounts. They sense their environment through the detection of odors, pheromones released by all living beings, and even by inert objects, and by a weak eye-sight, shifted towards the infrared, with a weak perception of visible light. Thus, they see frequencies from around 600 nanometers to 1 micrometer.
The filters under their abdomen are used to protect their pheromone detectors, when they burrow underground.
The Ijjin-sat are omnivorous, accomodating themselves with all kinds of food, although with a propensity for plant roots. They are asexual, as they are all spawned from a queen, who forms the center of the group. However, they do not form hives, and the queens, although usually leaders in their group, do not have a complete power over the others. When a queen dies, she releases a specific pheromone, and indeed, a specific hormone, and any Ijjin-sa which inhales this pheromone will turn into a queen as well. Their body frame is not designed for race, but they can carry payloads up to 10 times their weight, due to their extremely resistant exoskeleton and dense interior. They can live up to 20 years, 80 for queens, and mesure an average of 1m60 at the adult age, for a weight of around 25 kilograms. They spend the first month of their life in an egg, and when they hatch, they are almost adult. After 1 year, they are physically mature. It is only at 2 years, however, that they are mentally mature, and have learned all the basics of life.
Finally, they communicate through high-pitched clicks, created by the contact between their manidbules and the air which is expelled out of their mouth at high speeds, as well as between their mandibules.
Culture: They have a group-consciousness, which, although not as binding as in hive-insects, still drives their principal instincts. Their civilization is built around the service to the group, and their goals are replication and survival. Thus it must be ensured that, at all times, the youngs and the queen survive.
Knowing from where they came, the queen, and having the knowledge that the queen is but a mortal, they are realists, and can be described as amoral. Not immoral, but amoral. They possess no notion of "values" to be respected. The only thing they respect is the survival of the group. At the same time, they possess a drive for knowledge, as survival of the species is their prime concern, and they see knowledge as a way to ensure survival. Similarly, war is a tool to be used, but a tool which can also destroy the group. As such, little conflicts occur, and when they do, the two groups fighting usually end up fusing together, directed by the two queens. But the individual Ijjin-sa can take initiatives, and even live without a group for some time, as long as it knows that it is helping the group in some way. Usually, Ijjin-sat will always try to travel in group, as they feel safer, and a prolonged separation from others of their kind often results in madness, except if they know that the group is in need of them, situation in which the motivation becomes stronger then the instincts.
Starting location(Here you describe the land around them. Then, you will edit the map to show where they live, and a few pixels around.):
The Ijjin-sat live in a large valley, surrounded on all sides by mountains, although none of them are very high.
The mountains which surround the valley were once volcanoes, and thus the valley is covered by meters of ash, deposed there over time. The volcanoes, now, however, are extinct, and erosion has made them nearly invisible. Due to the geographical location and configuration of the valley, loess has deposed itself over it, and continues to do so, creating tens of meters of deposits. Finally, the valley was once passed through by a massive river, which left great quantities of sediment over the valley. In current times, the river passes around the valley, due to an ancient landslide. All of this makes the valley extremely fertile, in addition to provide building materials, with an important presence of clay. The depression, though, isquite dry, as very little rain falls on the region, coming only in late spring, in huge storms, before disappearing for the rest of the year. Thus, the majority of the water comes from aquifers, which cover the entire bedrock of the valley, thanks tothe lava flows, scoria and magmatic chambers left there by the volcanoes. The valley, in general, could be classified as semi-arid, with relatively little rainfall, and a subtropical vegetation. The valley is located in the center of the map.
Form of government: Group-consciousness. The Queens decide, but the entire group deliberates. As long as it does not hurt the group, anything can be done, with or without the consent of the queens, although such consent is necessary for major operations.

I hope it's accepted!

Anyways, arnie, I'm eager to see your first post!
