'How to build a better being' & 'Making of Spore' video's

My thoughts are simply this. Some people paid extra money for the GE version.
By uploading the videos, someone has already devalued their GE edition.
By posting a link with details, you've devalued them further.
By posting a link with details where spore fans play, you've "helpfully" devalued it even faster, and basically lowered my opinion of you and evidently the same effect has been had on other people.
If I wanted to see pirated videos I'd hit mininova or something. I certainly don't want to see them in here.
You are, after all promoting piracy ("Hey quick everyone, illegally shared videos here!!")

As a rhetorical question : Imagine someone came past and "devalued" your car.
That'd be bad enough.
How would you feel if the event was filmed .. and placed on youtube ?

Just because you're apathetic about it, doesn't mean everyone else is. Personally I hope there's some form of action taken as a result. I've 1*'d all the OPs posts and replies .. I feel better now.

There was a thread not long ago going on about the content of the Galactic Edition. Basically every country got a different thing, even down to the box.

If I am not mistaken, at the very least the National Geographic video was aired on TV - so in a sense it is not really anything 'exclusive' to GE customers such as myself - I just basically paid to get a hard copy of it in high quality on disc.

Still, I did get a nice box! That's the best part of the whole package.

I have removed the links to the videos. Posting links to copyrighted video is not okay. I'll leave this thread open in case you'd like to discuss the video but if it becomes a problem, it might be locked.

In all countries the galactic was promoted with the 2 dvd's in it: when they arrived some people found out that 1 (or 2) dvd's were NOT included. Here in the netherlands there was no problem.

Yes

Personally I enjoyed the art book more.
Nice glossy pictures.
I can tell you, if you look at the pictures of all the creatures.
They still have tons of cool things to offer.

Just a shame that it wasnt a hard copy.
