Barruk watched the lakes carefully. The tribe shamans had foreseen attacks by incredibly advanced offenders. He even was told that it could be retaliation from the strange creature that surfaced and popped so recently. Barruk had wondered how the creatures could possibly pose a threat if they came from somewhere beneath the lakes and popped when they surfaced, but he trusted the shamans so he had the catapults set up and readied to be loaded with flaming munitions.

The Submarines come up from the depths of the lakes and shoot the catapults with cannon fire. The catapults are destroyed.

Suddenly, a Holographic Image appears above the Submarines.

"RESISTANCE IS FUTILE"

Then, as quickly as they appeared, they disappeared. They leave the cavetribe avinoids confused and catapult-less.

((Please post OOC posts in doubble bracket when posting them on the IC thread. Oh, and it was needed. The colours didn't fit with a cave dwelling species. I also edited some other phisical features to fit it in with it's evolutionary branch. ))

Falco contineud on up the tropical mountain side. His speeder's feul was running low, but he knew his Frost friends would have some in storage.

As he ascended the mountain, the tropical jungle was gradually relplaced with alpine forest. Falco fealt occasional stings on his face as he hit snowflakes. A few minutes later, he had reached a pass. The huge crack in the mountain side split in the middle, one path leading out the other side of the range into the central Hitherean forests, the other leading up to Iqatan, the Frost Avinoid settlement.

Nearing the fork in the pass, Falco saw a flock of Frost Dragon nymphs gliding over head. He suddenly realised how cold it had gotton. He restrained himself from stopping to put on a jacket, as temprature endurance was part of his training.

When he reached Iqatan, Falco parked his speeder near the entrance of the town. It was encircled in huge cliffs, the only openings where he had entered and a thin crack leading back down into the jungle. The cliff circle, and therby Iqatan itself, had a radius of roughly one hundred meters and the cliff walls extended up to a hight of twenty meters at it's lowest at roughly two hundred meters a it's highest. The buildings were aranged in circular rings and were all made of ice. It was a spectacual sight.

Falco walked up to a nearby resident. "Can you tell me where Ique Shan is?"

"The Ique?" replied the boy. "He should be somewhere near the city hall, Ltn. Falco."

"Please don't call me by my millitary title," replied Falco. "Thanks."

Falco reached the hall. Shan was talking to a city coulcill-member in the square. "Shan," interupted Falco. "Sorry to intrude like this."

"No prolem Falco," the Ique said, turning away from the councill-member, gesturing him away.

"Any news from the border?"

"Well, the Flight Empire is keaping to their territory," replied Shan. "I hope Valcan doesn't decrease their area even further. There are only so many cave entrances in this region and their citizens may bocome warfull."

"I'll see to it that my father restrains himself. Thank you." As Falco turned away, he suddenly renembered something and turned back to the Ique. "One more thing. Mind me using some of your feul?"

((This seems very interesting and I love the maps. But I really don't want to play as the Avinoids. I'd much rather play as my own species shown below.



If it would be alright with you (you being the guy in charge here) I'd like to introduce them with a starship collision with this planet in one of the more remote regions, say the north pole so nobody would find the wreckage and reverse engineer the technology from the crashed starship. Even though they're a more advanced alien race, I'd keep them in line with the technological level of the Avinoids.

If there was one thing Barruk knew, it was that the catapults on those evil fish carrying deepsea avinoids around in them ((Note that, out of spite, I decided not to capitalize your species name, Greene. No offense, We're at war)) wouldn't shoot through the ramparts of densely packed soil supported by huge Hitharean timbers that the Cavetribe had gotten from the surface. The Carnathix had taken the responsibility of building defenses (and more catapults), while the Temporis, a very intelligent and nearly scientific tribe, had their best thinkers analyzing the damage and shells left from the cannons to attempt to replicate it so the now united Cavetribe Nation will be able to fight off this threat.

Shadow grinned as the cave aviniods swooped out, besides a small group with him "We're going to further explore these caves, we need to know if any more of us live in here, and where other exits from the caves are" The cave aviniods flew into the darkness, with only one carrying a torch for light, as they didnt need much.

As the Temporis thinkers continue to evaluate the Ponti Mari cannon shells (latin: of the Pontus Marus. Aren't you mad, non-latin speakers?), the Carnathix are continuing to build additional catapults. The catapults are not on the front, as it is currently occupied with enormous dirt ramparts, and the ceiling there is rigged with explosives and other such cave-in inducers. The Spodarin have poisoned and blocked any other aquatic cave entrances, and the Temporis have even built a long wooden tube with explosives at the end by analyzing the shells, and Fudarit of the Temporis used it to accidentally blow down a wall of his mother's hut. This definitely didn't make her happy, but the catapult production is slowing and more and a grand total of two guns have been built. A makeshift factory, or rather a pile of trees, a pile of Katarn workers, and a fairly slow production of long wooden tubes with explosives at one end and more explosives at the other end. The guns are being built into the highly climbing and highly durable wall that is defending the entirety of the Cavetribe Nation. ((Thanks for putting me on the road to Civ stage, Greene. And Dudeman, I apologize in advance for shouting. But, PUT MY ACTUAL GUY BACK! I MEANT HIM TO BE THAT WAY! YOU MESSED IT UP! PUT THE REAL GUY BACK! please. Thank you. ))

A) That was a sugestion, not an oder.

B) Cave Avinoids use ecco-location and night-vission and thus don't need torches (or much light, for that matter).

C) You found them allready!? Their on the other side of the continent, plus the cave system is HUGE (litterally millions of pasages, chambers, cavers, looooooong drop-downs, lakes, rivers and dead-ends) and would be impossible to get to the other side without getting hopelessly lost, or taking weeks.))


Falco got back onto his refealed speeded and exited Iqatan. he got back to the fork in the pass in this time went left (right, if he'd come from the jungle). As he neared the boarder, the pass went lower and lower untill snow and ice was replaced with trees and grass. He had now entered the inner forrests. Eventually the cliffed pass opened up into a vast valley. He had now entered Flight Empire territory. Following the road along a river, Falco eventually reached a huge cave entrance. All around were Aero Avinoids flying around or sitting in their tree huts.


((Jimmney, you still have to give the name of your capitol city. ))

(Ive been delaying naming it when in lack of a good name... xD And they would of already searched a bit of the caves, and i might of just got pure luck. Or otherwise im not going to find him for a loooonnnggg time xD But if you want me to ill delay for a while)
Several of the Cave Aviniods were sitting on sentry to the entrance of the cave, and quietly observed Falco, although a few of them had went to relay information to others.

The Pontus Marus Avinoids build great war machines, like large submarines, Battle Suits, and Even Battle Mechs. They plan on launching a grand invasion against the Cavetribe Avinoids, on an undisclosed date.
Their Cities are already bustling with activity, and Amplitudo Caput Gre`Ena has the full support of the nation. They have been monitoring the progress of their enemies, and decide to strike soon.

None of the other Avinoid nations have yet to condone the Pontus Marus actions, so they continue full force in their plans.
