Spore Islands on Facebook

How come spore & facebook have been doin all these things together?

Yep, I have no Facebook either and I'm thinking of playing the game, but I want to see some pictures first, anybody care to take some?

Well I just picked where I wanna play (rough forest) and am waiting for the game to load. So far so good. I like this idea.

This looks fun although i would like the ajust somethings, its still fun (its somthing i can play when iwant to relax)

Did you know its possible to force download viruses through facebook?

Freggi, may be somthing to do with flash player, do you have the latest version?

Yes I have Red-Indigo, the latest version with windows 7 (Browser IE eight). Me comes a another idea, I have not tried yet. Maybe I should in Compatibility mode switching in the browser.

They've done a deal. EA gets people onto facebook and facebook allows EA to put these advertisements on their site. (this is not a game, it's an advert for Spore).

Thanks for the comments and feedback on the game. And thanks to everyone who has been giving it a try.

Just to clear things up - this wasn't made to be an advertisement for Spore. It really is a game on it's own - and was made by game developers (like me!) and not by the marketing and sales folks. Of course, if it makes someone interested in picking up the Creature Creator or Spore for the PC, great! But that wasn't out main goal at all.

And as for the white screen - we've been having some server problems but will hopefully be getting those cleared up today for the weekend.

You guys arguably did a better job at getting actual evolution with this than you did with the original Spore. Kudos.

Never? I want to play it, but I dont want the facebook virus and vulgarity flood that comes with the membership required to play Spore Islands.

Infinite emphasis on vulgarity. mass ammounts of SPORE flood facebook every day. I'm serious.

Seriously EA, you want people to join facebook and receive SPORE and viruses just so you can advertize on one of the leading sites for SPORE and viruses. Fail much?
