Spore.com experiencing network issues

I don't know if this is another error you've encountered, but on Google Chrome, in the sporepedia, sometimes if you want to go to another page or examine a creation and such, it loads, and then instantly flicks back to the previous page. Kinda annoying, because it means I can't do anything on the sporepedia.

The sporepedia will not load. It is blank. I can connect to any other site, including my Myspore page, so I know that it is not my computer of spore.com.

That happens to me sometimes, specifically on "www.spore.com" if I'm not logged on...

I've posted in the Help forum under the spore.com 500 thread, and here is a copy of my message:

Here's another factoid, I don't know if it will help, but even after I receive my error message, I can click the "What is Spore" Banner and be able to access the Sporepedia, where I am still logged in. I cannot actually access my MySpore page at all (unless it is the public view), and I am very frustrated; it's been down since Tuesday night, roughly 7:00 EST, meaning I cannot log in on my browser. However, I can log in with no issues in-game.

I hope that clarifies the problem a little more. An hopefully it will lead to a solution, this is very inconvenient.

Today makes day number 4 without the use of my MySpore page (all the others are working), and I know you all are hard at work trying to fix this issue. If I could answer any questions from a SporeMaster that would help this process, I would be more than happy in order to get the issue straightened out. If a SM does have a question, just PM me and I'll get to it ASAP.

I posted links earlier to your thread and the others I've found around here.

The problem is showing up on different servers. Perhaps it happened to those of us who were online when it went down on TUESDAY.

Like you, the rest of us haven't had access to our MySpore pages (except to LOOK at them), since then.

I would like to believe that we'll get it fixed on Monday, anyway.

At least they believe we have a problem at this point, and are not just "doing something wrong" or whatever.

That happened to me..I found a fix...Firefox..

Moving around Spore.com and the Sporums is a lot easier today but the blue pop-up boxes are still lingering until I click on them.

I'm getting sent to several other countries sites after signing out. Latest link below...

Also can't navigate from my profile page again. Links send me to the page but I get the usual background page and nothing else.

Still locked out. Stinks because I can't control the iterative uploads of creatures.

I can get into my GA builder alt, which was not locked up, so I guess I'm going to have to play on that for the time being. I hate to do that, but I hate polluting the sporepedia with every creature iteration worse.

5 days now.

BTW, I have 4 browsers installed, so for those recommending a browser change, that helps with the HTML and flash errors on some of the pages, but it won't get those of us locked out into the site.

Logging in appears to work even though the page itself gives a 500 error.
Go to: http://www.spore.com/sporepedia

Log in with cookies if you're not already signed on. Then go back to that page and click "My creations" on the left hand bar and you shoudl be able to manage your creations without needing your Spore page. You can also manage your comments through here:

But yeahhhh, 5 days andworkarounds is getting bit much

Thanks, I tried that, but it appears at this point mine is well and truly locked up. I can see my sporepedia, and it says I'm logged in, but when I go to any of the individual creations, it shows me only the visitor view.

I'll try again later after I reboot.

34 minutes between the Sporums, signing into Spore.com giving up and trying to get back here to gripe and I have gotten nowhere except here to gripe because I am that determined.......

No... I understand it is a weekend and you guys need time off. So understand that I am an OverReinactor....

Any way, signing in is not a breeze anymore and getting on to the profile page takes 5 minutes then navigating from that is much worse. The Sporums... all is the same as I had spoke of before but signing in and starting post takes 5 minutes now, as well.

I hope this is fixed tomorrow. You guys definately have your Monday cut out for you and I wish you well.

I know they prolly are not even in the office yet, but nothing different for me, except the server I'm connected to.

I have the same problem as DragonEye4. I can log on and do anything but see the Sporepedia. That page is almost blank, except for a couple of artifacts mid page (a drop down search menu)

edit: It's working again.
