Did you read the rest of the thread? Everyone was pretty much saying that they will not make you a sig. I suggest you go to a sig shop.

1. This is not a blog spot. If you want to talk about something different, go somewhere else.
2. I don't appreciate being nagged on how I should go to a sig shop. This is a contest, and is meant to be that.
3. If you don't want to make me a sig, you can still hang around, but don't just talk about how stupid you think this is.
4. There is constructive and destructive critisizim. Don't criticize other people's work. They work hard.

Yeah! I spent a good minute and a half on that sig!

I think this is interesting and if I could I would force the better sig makers to come here.. Seriously some of them need a hard prod up somewhere, behaviour and support wise...

if this is a sig making contest....it belongs in the creator corner....

As far as I can tell, many people in this thread have relatively been sticking to the topic - they have been informing you of ways to get a sig. It may be less on-topic than you want, but at least it isn't pointless spam and flaming.

You don't need to go to a sig shop, but for good quality sigs you must go to one; recognized makers will not take the time to make you a sig just to give you a variety. I'm not implying that you want a good sig, but many entries might not be to your liking (if there are any). If the point of this contest is to develop sig-making skills, so be it.

Alright, I had to take a look at this phrase. "There is constructive and destructive criticism. Don't criticize other people's work."

...

So by that, you're saying we can't give them constructive criticism, even though doing so would point out better sig making techniques? We are forced to say, "OMG what a great design!" to an utterly-deserving (hypothetical) fail sig? Why not allow encouragement in any form? If this contest is meant to exercise sig-making skills, then wouldn't it be logical and reasonable to allow people to voice their opinions about others' work?

And sig contests should be in Creator Corner...
