Plagiarism isn't a breach of contract or breaking any rules, it is simply a breach of the creator communities unwritten code of ethics.

If you don't like it, hop on over to feedback and ask for the next expansion "SPORE FASHIONISTA".

Maxis has STATED policies on this and perhaps you might want to read them.

My problem is they didnt change it AT ALL. Yet it got higher on the MPN than my original did.

The MPN is basically a popularity contest. All the threads I post it on and my 8 subs cant compare with other people who have tons of subs with lots of good stolen creations.

EDIT: Tbh I don't know where my creation fell off the MPN but it still isnt right for it to be on it twice under someone elses name

A community game isn't going to base its ethics code strictly on the rules anymore then a societies code of ethics is based off its laws.

This is a community game, and the community has had (since I can recall) and unwritten rule that creators deserve credit for their creations. This, in my opinion, is a reasonable request. Don't think this is a big creators picking on the little guy thing with me, when I was a little creator I accidentally uploaded vehicles from another creator (Raptor1994, I owe him the attention as I did Plagiarize him accidentally and he is a SPORE good creator). I didn't go "That's the way the game is intended to be played so suck it", I apologized because it is an ethical breach.

...and it is fine that you aren't bothered by being plagiarized, but don't think that this makes you a superior person then those who would like a little credit for what they do.

Whenever I modify someone else's creation, I always put "Based on (Creator's Name)'s (Creation Name)."

As someone who is so busy in their job that occasionally I make a mistake, I'm guessing whoever picks the featured creations usually checks the lineage, but occasionally slips up. I doubt picking featured creations is a major part of anyone's job description. It isn't that important a thing to do.

You shouldn't play the game if you can't handle it. This is why there is a problem with E to E10+ games being multiplier based. At least one of the problems.

I'm simply agreeing with the problem pointed out.

Right now I'm making another ship so I obviously handled it well enough to continue creating.
