That's one fix I'd love to see, but in the mean time if you care to do it I found a bit of a solution for the invisible creatures and cities. If you hit Esc and go into Spyglass mode it often starts rendering the objects more quickly or, even if it isn't, will do it almost immediately if you click on said invisible item (At its shadow or something) and let it load up its Sporepedia page. It gets a bit irritating surely, so a fix would be better, but I've timed different instances for trying this and waiting for the game to do it normally and have found that this frequently gets things on screen a lot more quickly.

1. Transporters that bring spice from one planet to another automatically.
Would be very useful when u have much planets.

2. More ways to earn DNA in creature phase ( like quests in RPGs - "go to place A and pick up item B and bring it to creature C" eg)

3. Creating Groups of Units while Tribe and Ziv phase with ctrl + number

I'd like a way to interact with pirates more directly. I mean, I am floating around space with 99,999,999 sb I think, that is max right? and 99 of all flavors of spice. I would pay them up front some kind of protection racket to not flippin send three ships to my borderline colony that can only produce 5 spice to pillage it. . Or even give them home planets you can bomb the heck out of for all the trouble they give you and end their reoccurring ways in the area around the planet. . something.

People were complaining about the rate the events occur, and I wasn't minding terribly while I was building my empire in a nice ring around my home planet for easier traveling, but an actual Story driven mission has lead me far f a r away, so far I have to travel through a black hole. . and I've actually had it happen, dive into the hole, skeedly doo skeedly doo swirly screens, pop out on the other side and incoming transmission, "go back to start, do not collect 200 sporebucks" On second thought if my first suggestion is too hard for a patch, just slow down the rate of other things happening even more than they sposedly did in the first patch.

Still related. . haha, this was really bugging me last night I guess. . . I like eco disasters, because they tell me what is going on, x minutes until you fail. Can we get some kind of real time status update on our pirate activities? How many ships there are, or if they are attacking a planet with an uber turret, I've had an uber turret actually end a spice raid in like three seconds before. just enough time for me to stop what I was doin. . and start heading back.

The only thing I want from the next patch is better game stability overall. Specific things can be targeted like the fact I can't go the social route in Tribal anymore or how I cannot visit a wildlife sanctuary I found from a previously saved game, but fixing these thing specifically will probably cause other problems as a result.

So, yeah, all I want is an overall stability to be put in place in one nature or another.

Yea... Overall game stability would be real nice. I had a glitch today where I paid off a space empire to not go to war, and they recorded it as "You denied us."

Tired of the random game glitches, everything from system overload, driver incompatibility, graphics glitches, program logic error that can cause amusing incidences or outright crash the game... etc.

ad nauseum.

Fix the instability, or at the very least, add an OPTION to turn on an auto-save feature.

Also, I banned an empire in a different save game, and now I have another empire saying:
"Bring us a ." from planet X.

That's it... just "Bring us a ."

I gathered up everything from that planet, it showed for a second as done, then popped up again, and now seems impossible to complete.

Whatever a " ." is, it's not there anymore... Or never existed...

Someone with sense, since the 1st patch my game is un-playable. The so-called fixes they introduced now give me so many graphical problems that Im not playing the game until they have sorted it. When zoning into a planet either of my own to defend against a raiding party or to an enemy planet to engage in combat, the only graphics displayed are those of the planet, no cities, no buildings, no enemy ships, however they are actually their and able to destroy my spaceship even thow I am unable to see them let alone fight back!

Getting fed-up with EA in general as they manage to ruin pretty much all games they get hold of, great example is C&C over  Westwoods!!

For pirates: slap down an uber turret on every planet. a 50,000 hp automated defense drone CAN nullify every pirate attack. Only attacks you need to worry about then are hostile aliens/grox which are by far more infrequent than pirate attacks.

In most of my games there's a 1 in 10 chance a pirate raid will parially succeed. To which a ship will escape with ONE peice of spice off a planet that can usually produce 50-100 (if I have spice storage placed). The uber turret is just so sweet for dealing with pirates

i would like

asymetric and symetric toggle for creatures creaters. so you can change it on the fly while creating, no need to mod the game. it should be in already

fix the way you can ally with the grox, its stupid i wasted 50 hours for me to never be able to ally with them due to my mistake at the very start of the stage. with no indication i was about to ruin my save and have to start again

unreachable stas, havent encountered it yet, but i hear it happens, dont want it to happen to me

chatbox in the sporepedia, so i can live chat with buddies

fix the sporecast and server time out bugs

I hope the next Spore patch will fix the last Spore patch. My game ran flawlessly... then I installed the patch. Now I am getting killed by creatures that are invisible and whats really great, is that the sound does not synch up with the game so I dont even know I am in battle with an invisible creature... YAY!!!

1. Stability/Glitch Reduction

2. Price reduction in creature stage: For every part that gives only marginal, or no bonus, a superficial amount of DNA should be charged, so as to let people make more complex designs, and bring more focus to the creativity aspect of spore rather than try and make a creature all functional.

3. Decrease tribe aggression; they tend to all hate you, and your relationship with them is on a constant downward slope. If you don't want to be attacked, you have to keep supplying all angry tribes with food, and then impress them one at a time.

5. Fix up some creature animations. Seriously, revert the quadraped animation. In the Creature Creator, I remember my quadrapeds actually looking like they ran when I double clicked. Now when I do it, they just... Walk fast. With absolutely no pattern of feet movement.

6. An option to hire different ships in the Space Stage would be nice; Defense ships that fly around your colonies, and can definitely hold their own, and Shipment ships, that ship spice to your home planet (which has the best storage space of any of your colonies, mind you. Would allow you to easily collect spice in one location, while lose very little revenue due to collecting too late.)

8. Create a more 'wild' Creature Stage environment, with more varied creature placement, rather than just a ton of creatures centered around nests.

Can you guess what I want the most? If anything, go with that. And I beg of you to do that before anything else!

Some users have found that using the fix listed HERE: http://forum.spore.com/jforum/posts/list/6301.page has solved the invisible creature issue.

1. A flora creator. Why should Maxis have all the fun in creating your planets vegetation?

2. Planet creator in the creature, tribal and civilization stages. I would like to have more control over my planet from water placement to mountians and hills and even valleys, and of course my own vegetation.

3. More creature building parts, ie heads, hands, feet and customizable parts such as tails and horns that look like they belong on the creatures. The space age outfits are rediculous and for the most part don't fit any of the creatures that I've created. Add additional building and vehicle parts and make them so that you can place a single part on any part of the building or vehicle without have two parts appear and then being limited to placement. More textures and control for painting and coloring, such as painting parts individually.

4. Male and female versions of the creatures or you have the opportunity to choose between being a male or female from the start of the game.

5. Eco disasters and pirate attacks are way too commonplace and tend to be more of an annoyance than anything. Natural disasters, such as earthquakes or severe weather would be more welcomed than flying half way across the galaxy to kill some hapless animal. How about payment or the opportunity to demand payment for said services. Why can I not count on my allies to defend my planets in my absence?

6. One of the most important things for me is the ability to interface with other Spore Players while in game. We are all logged into the Spore server are we not? There's no reason why I couldn't make a friend an ally or my mortal enemy in game play.

This game has the ability to be so much more than what it is. Fix the bugs, add more creative options and the ability to play in game with real world friends.
