Sounds good. I'll edit the OP with your idea.

Hi CrazyShyness,

your "Creature Stage Improvments # 5 - Changing your status from Carnivore to Herbivore to Omnivore should be alowed" inspired me to add this to my list. What do you think about it?

There should be an option to turn the animal stage a bit more difficult by: Allowing only a very few changes within one generation, allowing only changes in a slowly, gradual way plus a price of DNA for doing changes. E.g. in one generation, you can only switch between familiar parts or add remove level 1 parts. Also you have to pay a small amount of DNA just for doing any changes ... perhaps 5 DNA * generation count.

I think I see what you are saying, but not really. Do you mean that you can't go from having legs to taking them away and having level 5 charm one evolution and then taking it off unless you give up a few DNA points?

The parts in the creature editor are placed in rows of similiar functions.

So if you want to change a part you have to change it in these rows first to grade 1 before you can switch to another row. And there you have to start with grade 1 ...

You have
Grade 3 amphibian feet - "The Froggening"

You want it to change into
Grade 3 insect feet - "Slasherknight"

Then you have to "mutate" your creature this way
0. Grade 3 amphibian feet - "The Froggening"
1. Grade 1 amphibian feet - "The Geckonator"
2. Grade 1 insect feet - "Stumplestilt"
3. Grade 3 insect feet - "Slasherknight"
This changes is made in 3 generations.

If you want to remove the feet / leg you can do this as step (3).
There are only a samll number of change allowed per generation, so you can't change too many things at once. And every generation would cost a little bit more ... maybe up to a cap of 100 DNA at generation 20 and higher.

This should only be an option! So if one player finds it to difficult, he should be able to turn this off.

That makes sense. I'd add that onto the OP, but I have no clue how easy that would be to implement.

That's sort of why I don't really want to post it here. I believe that asking for some easier things to implement and just a few hards would be a little easier to do and more likely to be implelmented. You can post it on yours though.

Your idea about tribe and civilization interaction is interesting, but some tribes already resist your vehicle.

I know that, but it is only those that become nations later on in the game. What I mean is that tribe can and will send tribal warriors into your city so you have no choice whether to raze their tribe to the ground or ally with them. You know almost like with colonial America, the Europeans either attacked (Spanish/English) or became somewhat allies (French) with the Native Americans. You know something like that. I should make the OP clearer though...

Thanks Ifrit.

@brandon1997ft: How? As far as I know you can't change from herbivore to carnivore to omnivore or whatever in creature stage.
