Thats pretty interesting. It would be nice if it actually was a super nova... But anyway you've actually seen new stars pop into existence?? Can we get a video of that?

i have heard will state that there are supernovas in the game, with so many stars in the galaxy i think it will be a pretty rare sight almost impossible to get video of, now if there are super novas it would explain why one day a star moved to a different position andnot just a little i watched it come from off screen and move past the star i was hovering over in the galaxy map i thought it was a binary system splitting up but i now believe a super nova pushed the closest star away from it when it exploded because i did hear an explosion, thats what got my attention and made me pay close enough attention to notice the star flying by and stopping in a different position lol

To add to the discussion, I had the trembling/grumbling screen while moving around stars yesterday but I couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from. I'll try to get a fix on this and, if possible make a movie out of it. I'm not making any promises though!

Chris Hecker and Alex Hutchinson, neither of you have any idea what hardcore gamers want. Certainly not this piece of crap that is Sboring. So, just stfu about Spore being attractive to power/hardcore gamers.

Ok the flashing red ring means that it is a colony you are at war with and you entered the ring area so he is going to send a ship at you. I've had this glitch before. You zoom into an enemy star system and take em out, and sometimes the red ring will get stuck there. saving and reloading deleted the ring for me.

Ive never seen the rumble though. cool.

But what controls the number of ships following you into a system is how many red rings you sent off flashing like that.
