I love it, its a much simpler idea than what most of us had in mind and it wouldn't require much in image encryption.

I didn't 1-star you (I only saw this thread today) but I'm guessing whomever did it was for your use of "G**D***" which can be pretty offensive to some people. Oh just so we're clear, I also support the idea. Easy implementation for maximized creativity.

I've long since thought there should be sliders for Spore gameplay, based on many of the old arguments:

Emphasis on parts vs. All creatures equalized
Science vs. Fun

etc.

Sliders for voice, particularly already done in another Maxis games, is so simple how can it not already be implemented?

That's a great idea! It always bugs me when i discover my other save games and they say "Halt - Identify yourself" in a friendly voice. It doesn't sound ... right.

It's actually sad that Maxis didn't apply this simple thing! WE NEED A VOICE CHANGER!!! This game isn't living up to what it could actully do! I want MY creatures to have a very deep and EVIL voice! Like for example, the EVIL Vinseras!

I think it should be a slider, with a test button. You can add synthesizers, and tone it (Maxis made voices: "Masculinacho", "GirlyGirl", etc. You know what lame names they would give them.), you can then take it, and it will become a tag showing the synthesizers (chess piece, Bird, Mean Face, etc. there are 4 sythesizers per voice (Bird=chirpy, Mean face=Gravelly, Chess piece= Harpschicord sound, Octopus=bubbly, oozey voice), tone (pink=girly, light purple= Tomboyish, Dark pink= creepy girl, Blue= Heroic, Dark Blue= Tough guy, sky blue= wimp), and the volume and contast (the sliders), and the name.

I think they should let us make them speak with the same voice as NPC races, so when you get to civ stage, you get a menu with the 8 NPC voices (warrior, zealot, bard, diplomat, shaman, trader, ecologist, scientist - the game doesn't generate NPC wanderors and knights for some reason)
